@@XhiaGaming You didn't actually cover the lighting, showing how it worked in the setup how effective it was which is the whole point.

Apologies, I thought I covered that with the app/ and stream deck and the colour range/ brightness slider shots and the shot of my desk/ messy setup. I do try to generalise certain things look in my setup to ensure it appeals to more people. Especially in a review similar to this, mainly because rooms can vary greatly with backlights, windows, overhead lights, etc. And at the end of the day it's just a light; and it does what I want it to do.

Thank you, appreciate it! It's actually quite good in my opinion, it does catch the occasional breath or 2 given that its a microphone boom that sits relatively close to my face, but not too much other noise is caught unless its particularly loud of course 😅

Sadly I can't confirm as I don't own the original darkplates, but they're pretty close to the original white PS5 plates if you have them as a point of reference. Hope this helps!

Agreed, the ecosystem part plays into it massively and Elgato have done a really good job at making it work seamlessly - I might have to check out the Godox line though!

Yeah, they don't really lock in which can be annoying. Do you have your stand on an TV unit or a desk? Mines on a TV unit out of the way so doesn't cause any issues; but I get how it could be easy to knock off.

@@XhiaGaming i originally had the station on the table beside my couch, they would fall off at the slightest bump, so i ended up moving the dock to the tv stand, recently picked up a knock off version that has a small peg that goes into the headset jack and holds and locates them way firmer, also have a version that The USB type c connector stays on the controller and has a quick magnetic attachment with a usb charging cable setup with the same type of magnetic attachment this method leaves them still using the cable, its just easier to hook up to and connect that came with an aftermarket charging kit anx woeks pretty well you dont even gave to remove the little usbc dongle and its a snap to gook up

Mine sits on a table by my couch eventually had to move it over beside the tv so i would be less likely to get bumped, recently changed to a different typer of charger where you puy a small magnetic dongle into the usbc port on your controller, then when you charge the controller the magnets srick right together and it charges great, makes tge controllrs feel much more secure, this xharfinv system is part of a ps5 verticle wall mounting system which runs sliggtly cheaper tgan the sony chargingl dock but also gives me the option to vertically mount my ps5 on the wall which does helf me get eid of a lot of clutter on the desk. 😁

@@Greg1096 Oh that's cool! Yeah, you've got to pick the one that works best for you and your set up - I like the sound of the magnets part that would make it feel much more secure and make sure its on properly to charge.

Yep, this one is specifically designed to work with the DualSense Edge and it's paddles/ domes. Mine charges perfectly! I can't speak to the silicone covers though as it would change the size of the controller slightly.

Main reason for me was the length; the one that comes with the PS5 is too short for my set up; so needed something just a bit longer 🙂

@@XhiaGaming You get a nice Case with the Controller, this can carry all the accessories and addons. And the Parts you can Change like the Sticks and the D-Pad are magnetic, i think thats not the same as on the Playstation Controller. And when you remove the sticks, you have a little tool to adjust the stiffnes of a stick depending on what your gaming. And all the parts are made from Metal, the sticks, the dpad and the little thingys you put on the back of it, not sure what they are called. And the Case you get with it is basically your. Charging station, you literally just have to plug it in with the included USB-C Cable, and then it wirelessly Charges in that Case, i call it wireless but its more like with 4 little contacts that touch the other 4 contacts on the Controller.
