Just a quick video showing the bb54 on a jubilee that i just had lying around in the "mad drawer" :) I purchased this from watch gecko some time ago and thought id see if it fit the 54. Turns out it does although not perfect its a superb option! Tudor Black Bay 54 and Christopher Ward Trident Pro 300 Comparison
Переглядів 26 тис.Рік тому
Hi and welcome to my channel. In this video I’m comparing the new Tudor Black Bay 54 with the Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 38mm. I own both of these watches and thought it would be cool to look at them side by side. I also show them on different straps (towards the end of the video) and I even demonstrate the differences in how easy/hard it is to remove the bracelets. I’m very close to ...

Thought i'd upload a little song i wrote about 30 years ago! Never actually tried to do anything with it and still wonder if this would be a good song to give to a country artist. If anyone has any contacts please get in touch :)

CW is so much better than the BB.
Needs a crown - screw down and robust. Next, for goodness sake flatten the smooth bezel - then I’ll buy 12 of them
If cost wasn't a factor I'd take the Tudor. The CW has nice case details and great features, but the Tudor bezel to dial ratio is ideal, and the Tudor dial overall is more pleasing to my eye.
Think I’d agree although I am never sure about the gilt colour. Would love the new monochrome one in 37mm!
Dont like kid sized watches
Luckily you’re not obligated to buy them 😊🙏👍
Dream watch man
hope ur still enjoying the watch.
I let it go (as I do with them all eventually) I’m just exploring different watch’s all of the time but the sinn is certainly up there with the best I’ve tried! 👍
Looks great 👍
Nice review as always! How does this stack up against a Sinn 556i in your view? For a versatile watch I potentially slightly prefer the slightly dressier applied markers and dimensions of the CW. My concern is the crystal and dial, because the Sinn AR and glossy dial is so sharp. What's the crystal quality like on this?
Thank you. I’d say, for the reasons you mentioned, that the CW is a lot more versatile. I find the crystal and ar coating are good but the sinn is a bit special with the outer ar coating doing an amazing job too. Probably room for both in the collection for different reasons I’d say 👍
I wish they had the blue face for the gold 😤
Great video thanks. What is the make & model of the red strap please? It looks amazing. Thanks.
Thank you. It’s this one…TStrap Silicone Watch Straps 20mm... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B092SC51RN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Do you still have this watch? Do you wear it often? Is it too thick? What do you think of it after 1 year? I cant decide between this one and San Martin BB54. I got 6 inch wrist
It went a while ago but I do have fond memories. I’ve actually got the 54 coming tomorrow. The watch definitely wasn’t too thick. I’m excited to see what the 54 is like because I’ve had the Tudor 54 so will be able to feel the difference 👍
@@Time_and_time_again Great! Cant wait for the review! What a timing.
@@marko0marko0marko01 I’ve just realised… it’s the cronos 54 that’s coming but that’s even better by all accounts!
@@Time_and_time_again Really? Should I go for it over San Martin? Edit: Why did you sold bb54? Did it feel too small for you?
@@marko0marko0marko01 the bb54 is the perfect, perfect size for a 6 inch wrist! Only sold to fund more watches to have a play with. I’ll do a little review of the cronos soon and give you an idea but I’ve seen reviews saying how good the cronos is 👍
The emphasis is on the first syllable!!! It’s Pélagos, not Pelágos!! It’s a greek word (πέλαγος) and means “the sea”! For example: The Aegean Sea = Το Αιγαίο Πέλαγος!
Yes, this has already been observed a few times haha. Thanks, AGAIN 😀👍
I've owned this watch for 3 weeks and I absolutely adore it. For just around $1k including taxed and duty fees, this is a steal. Average movement, but the finishing is head and shoulders above most competition at this pricepoint.
Fits perfect!
thanks for the video thought i liked this watch from the pictures. it something about it looks really small and dainty or cheap
Thanks, I haven’t thought it looked cheap or dainty but as far as the size goes there’s nothing that looks dainty on my small wrist 😊👍
Does the Tudor wear bigger than the CWard?
Yes mate I’d say it does 👍
@@Time_and_time_again thanks Alan, appreciate the insight!
I got mine off eBay for a bargain £2,400 6 weeks ago. I haven’t worn anything else since. I go to put my BB58 red dot 🔴 on for a change but quickly switch back to my Pelagos, love the dial, gun metal bracelet and red text.
That is a bargain!
Hey there, what is your wrist size?
6 inches 👍
Dear Tissot - add a masculine crown and make it screw down and I’ll buy twelve of them…
Essas tatuagens dão cabo de tudo!
Thanks for the positive feedback, it’s very much appreciated. Have a wonderful day and god bless you 🙏👍
I dont know why theres a hype on this watch. Its really ugly
Like you
How much with 😊Bronze 🥉 strap
Have they got CW shops now or boutiques in England now????
As far as I know there’s only one in London! 👍
Showroom in Maidenhead. Appointment only. It’s all in their website.
Great review - really useful. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!🙏👍
amazing video ! this gave me a good insight on the one i just ordered!! i got the gnomon concorde edition!
Thanks and that sounds cool! 🙏👍
Great choice! This is on my shortlist for my big birthday. I’ll be avoiding the GMT version as the number 18 is misaligned with the adjacent index.
How do you feel about the painted logo?
Hadn’t given it a second thought really. Applied would be nice but I’m fine with the painted logo 👍
@@Time_and_time_again give it time
@@Dave-en8yz it’s been a year 👍
Is possible to buy this watch with the jubilee bracelet? thanks
Yes, as far as I know 👍
Looks like a Chinese replica. Lume is different on hands and markers. Tudors don’t have that.
I can assure you it isn’t 😂👍
now i know why cw offers to size the bracelet themselves lol
Yep, it’s worth the £10 😀👍
These CW are killer tool watches... I would like to see a side by side of a 39mm and your 36mm sealander....I love the dial and index markers
I have the 41 (19cm/7.5" wrist). I love it. When I look at the 36, the dial looks very crowded. The applied markers are the same size on both watches, but on the 41 they have a lot more space. Even so, that's a great watch.
I like your reviews in general, but this one seemed like you wrote the watch off before you even started. The review should've been from the perspective of someone who doesn't own the other two watches, judged on its own merit, and considered against other similar sized watches in the same price range. There aren't many watches that fit the bill with this level of finishing, swiss movement, and size at that price. Traska summiteer which is cheaper would be the only one I can think of, but the level of finish seems a notch or two below the sealander. I agree that the crown guard on the case is questionable, I'll have to see it in person to see how I really feel about it, but it seems to follow the design of a "sealander", a watch that's suitable for both sea and land (aqua terra inspired). I have other smaller watches with no crown guard that are good for 200m but the fact that they don't have a crown guard has me checking nervously to see if the crown has shifted whilst swimming.
This is a long time ago now so I’d have to watch it again to understand what you mean but what I will say is that out of those 3 watches I now only own one of them. You might be surprised to find out that it’s the sealander 😀🙏👍
@@Time_and_time_again i got mine on pre-order for mid-September, and managed to request that it be fitted with the shorter clasp. Looking forward to it, will leave a note once I've had some with it. Cheers.
Boy, that low-key date window just disappears on that dial! I already have the dressier 556 IB, but I’ve been Jonesing for the simpler 556 A.
Yeah it certainly does! 🙏👍
Bro change video title from 16mm to 16cm
Well spotted, done thanks 🙏
Hi! We are looking at this watch. Perfect for me but my husband wants to know if you still have the 35mm PRX and if you still like it? You both have the same size.
Hi, I actually let mine go because I felt it was a little small even on my small wrist. The bigger one is too big so I’m now looking at the Chrstopher ward twelve in 38mm as an option 👍
@@Time_and_time_again we looked at it again and he felt it was too small. The Twelve is gorgeous but the pricing on it to get it to South Africa is crazy. So other than the sizing for you, how was the rest of the watch? I am excited to get it. Love the Seastar but already have my Victorinox Maverick diver and feel I’d like something different. Thanks again :)
As someone who likes to swap straps out a lot and enjoy bracelets, it is quite disappointing to see a watch like Tudor not have a quick release. Big win for CW
Yes, I concur!
Great review! Which CW bracelet do you like better? I like the look of the gmt bracelet but the oyster style has quick adjustment on it. Is either more comfortable?
It’s a tough call but I think the dragonfly blue suits the jubilee a bit more 👍
Best modern watch out there, feels great and wear fantastic.
Where was the elastic strap from pls?

@@Time_and_time_again thanks mate
Hi as you’ve tried both would you advice this version or the less homagy ones with differents hand? Really nice review btw hope you do more! 😊
Thank you mate and yes I’d have to say the less homagy one would be the best choice 🙏👍
That is a smokin hot dial and the color is a grand slam!
May I know the title of the song and the artist behind it? Thanks in Advance.
I’m not sure sorry. It was randomly picked on UA-cam music
Any change in opinion about a year into ownership? Is it still part of the collection? Thank you!
I don’t actually have it now as I’m forever changing but I do have the same watch in blue! Still a fantastic choice for a diver at 38mm and I wear it often 🙏👍
Should I buy a 35mm tissot watch or 40mm tissot watch.... I've a 17 cm wrist... Plz help 🙋🏻🙋🏻
I think the 35 will be too small and the 40mm will be too big. That’s my honest opinion sorry. 38mm would be a nice sweet spot 👍
@@Time_and_time_again From what wrist size would you recommend the 40mm? For example I have 18
It does look a decent size 36mm
Ward vs. Tudor equals VW Passat vs. BMW M5
Indeed 👍
Love the video! Have you gotten a chance to start a review video on this watch?
I let it go shortly after the initial review sadly. I felt it looked a little small even on my slim wrist. I think I may have been a little too hasty though and wouldn’t be surprised if I picked one up again at some point 🙏👍
@@Time_and_time_again I just got mine today and I’m lovin’ it! I have a 6.75 in. wrist and I think it looks great. Looked great on you too but that all opinion. Love your vids, keep up the good work! Cheers from Arizona!
wow!
