I have a degree in TV film and video production and a masters in metaphysical sciences am an ordained Reverend and a Dr of Divinty. And I can categorically confirm that there are Absolutely NO robots in this video ! Maybe you are not used to listening to real people and to someone who has trained voice acting 🎭 experience and over 40 years experience in the entertainment industry and does all the work herself and I can also assure you that a lot of very HUMAN work went into this video ! I am not sure how to fix this issue for you, as when I listen through headphones 🎧 it is set at half volume and can be heard quite clearly - when listening without headphones if I set the volume at 3/4 I can still here it quite clearly. This is why you do fact checks. The British traders, took tea from China to India. The USA did not actually exist. The colonies of the Americas were populated by British subjects,, who drank tea and paid tax on it. That didn't end well!

      Ahr it got your attention in less than 60 secs though - however The British Empire, encompassing diverse territories from the 16th to the 20th centuries, relied on trade, TRADE being the optimum word here - but also exploitation like forced labor in some regions, for its expansion. While the empire introduced tea to many parts of the world, like China and India and the United States on an industrial scale , it is however important to acknowledge the existing tea cultures and their interactions with this introduction. While tea is now a beloved beverage globally, considering the environmental or economic consequences of its widespread cultivation adds to a more nuanced understanding of its history." While it's true the British Empire played a role in introducing tea to some regions, you are saying that it's crucial to avoid oversimplification and acknowledge multiple perspectives for an accurate picture. Hard to do in 60 secs or under - more for a longer form documentary in the future - Here's a breakdown by country: **China:** * **Tea was already well established in China** long before the British arrived. In fact, its cultivation and enjoyment predate the empire by centuries. * **British trade with China focused on acquiring existing tea crops,** not introducing the beverage itself. The East India Company primarily dealt in black tea, a processed version preferred by Western tastes, while China mainly consumed green tea. * **The Opium Wars,** fought in the mid-19th century, were initiated by the British to force open Chinese trade and address the trade imbalance caused by China's strict control over exports like tea. While the wars had a significant impact on the region, it's not accurate to say they introduced tea to China. **India:** * **Tea plants existed naturally in parts of India**, but not on a large scale. * **The British began cultivating tea in India in the 1830s**, primarily using Chinese seeds and expertise. They established plantations and implemented a system of forced labor, leading to exploitation and hardship for many local workers. * **Indian tea production eventually surpassed China's** due to favorable climate and efficient British methods. However, it's important to acknowledge the negative aspects of this British-led growth. **United States:** * **Tea already existed in the US colonies** prior to the American Revolution, primarily imported from Dutch merchants. * **The Boston Tea Party**, a protest against British tea taxes, cemented resentment towards British control of the tea trade. * **Following independence, the US diversified its tea sources**, including direct trade with China and other nations. While the British were initially prominent, they weren't the sole or defining influence on American tea consumption.

Remember, attributing tea's introduction solely to the British Empire can minimize pre-existing practices and create a simplistic narrative. While they undoubtedly played a role in specific aspects of tea cultivation and trade, a comprehensive understanding requires recognizing the complex historical context and acknowledging the agency of local communities.

    It also inspired features of the American Constitution, particularly the first ten amendments, and later, the fourteenth. Before and after the American Revolution, there were many similar rights enshrined in the various state constitutions and laws. Sadly, the Australian Constitution, passed as a bill in the UK Parliament, contained no bill of rights, enabling the brutal lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Most of this information is false. How does one tune a hammer?

    • @historymythsandmysteries
      @historymythsandmysteries 8 місяців тому

      Just because you yourself do not understand something does not mean it’s false - the information here is very correct - Big Ben's bell, along with the four quarter bells, are not truly "tuned" in the traditional musical sense. Instead, their pitches are determined by their shape, size, and thickness of metal. However, the bell founders carefully controlled these factors to achieve harmonious tones for the Westminster Chimes melody. Here's how it works: Each bell has a unique size and shape: Big Ben weighs 13.7 tonnes and has a diameter of 2.3 metres. The quarter bells are progressively smaller. These dimensions naturally determine the fundamental frequency of each bell. Material and casting technique: The bells are made of a specific bronze alloy chosen for its durability and sound quality. The bell founders also used a precise casting technique to ensure even thickness and consistent sound production. Positioning of the hammers: The hammers strike specific points on the bells to produce the desired tones. Big Ben's hammer, for example, strikes near the rim to create its deep boom. Fine-tuning: After casting, the bell founders might have made slight adjustments to the bells' shapes or hammer positions to refine their pitches and harmonize them for the melody. While their sounds aren't tuned to specific musical notes like instruments, the bells of Big Ben create a recognizable and iconic sequence thanks to the careful craftsmanship and attention to detail in their creation. This combination of size, shape, material, and striking point produces a unique and powerful sound that has resonated across London for centuries.

    • @AllonsyRapunzel
      @AllonsyRapunzel 8 місяців тому

      @@historymythsandmysteries You said the hammers were tuned. This is false. The bells are each individually tuned. In ye olden days this would have been done by chipping the rim until it came to the desired note. Nowadays, and in the case of these bells, this is done by shaving metal off the bell from the inside. Also the bell is not made of cast iron! That would sound incredibly awful! They're made of bell metal which is a special type of bronze alloy. Also there is NOTHING "desired" about the tone of big Ben. The bell is cracked after a hammer that was too large was used. They simply turned the bell around and used a smaller hammer. This is why the bell is so discordant! Whitechapel knew what they were doing when they cast the bell and told them not to use such a big hammer but they didn't listen

    There are letters in a synagogue in Zebruga in the Netherlands between the Rabbai and Cromwell giving him his instructions before and after the civil war. Cromwell had no reason to kill the King as he hadn't commited any crime by fielding his own army so the kind Rabbai advised him on a fake escape attempt to give cause for execution of the King. All in exchange for the control of the Bank of England. Who's really in charge of your currency and country??? Ever wonder why you live in a constant recession or in real terms why you are a people enslaved???

    They sure did influence Asia. They addicted half the population of China with opium from India. With the help of England and the fact they had their own army, they took over India to protect their opium trade.
