Hi Simon, no I don't have an outside aviary, I only divide the cages up into 600mm or 800mm when I'm breeding.the rest of the time they are opened up to 1400mm long. I think this is shown in the second video. Thanks Andy

Hi Billy, thanks for your comment, always willing to learn. It wasn't something I thought about when I was building the shed, but luckily the sun doesn't shine on the windows just catches the corner early morning. Do you have blind up in your shed ?

Hi, yes in my first video, which shows me building the shed you can see the air extraction. I had a couple of comments about it saying that the dust was heavier than air and it would be better fitted lower down. I don't have anything to manage the humidity just keep my eye on it and spray water if it gets to low. The plastic cages are the best in my opinion, but as I'm a joiner and most of the material and my labour are for free then I made my own. Please watch my other videos for a better insite in the shed. Hi, the bird shed is still looking well, the small tube heater i have struggled to keep the temperature up over winter, so may need a bigger one for this year, havent lost any birds which is good, my gouldians didn't do as well as expected , a bit to young some of them, but the young ones I have are going to be stunning birds, Bengalese always do well two nests just hatched yesterday ,looking forward to this year, hope your shed and birds are well 😀👍

@@andrewhopton3542 thanks for the update... your tour gave me some ideas! :) If you have time, take some videos of those stunners. I am a canary person, but I appreciate when someone is satisfied with what they are breeding!
