Bear and Boar – Alliteration Adventure 1781 | #tonguetwister
Our tongue twister alliteration is all about a bear and a boar. You know what a bear is, but how about a boar. A boar is a wild pig. In the early years of our country Europeans used to bring pigs with them to have something to eat and when they got loose they became wild pigs or boars and boars can be nasty and territorial. In this case the bear and the boar both want the wild berries. I wonder who will win? We will because we are going to do this one three times quickly.

Pheasant Limerick - AA1780 | #limerick #alliteration

I have a limerick for you today about a person who plucks pheasants. A limerick must have five lines and a certain pitter-patter when you say it. This limerick could use a better pitter-patter but it is still fun so let's give it a try. Once there was an old peasant Who was not very pleasant I'm not a pheasant plucker, But I'll keep plucking pheasants 'Till the pheasant plucking’s done said the...

A.A. Milne wrote about a stuffed bear named Winnie the Pooh many years ago. We grew up with him and Winnie the Pooh always described himself as a bear of very little brain, or just fluff for brains but in today's alliteration he gives some very good advice to Christopher Robin. Let's give it a try three times quickly and take the bear's advice. "Promise me you’ll always remember: You're braver ...

Tomorrow is the inauguration of the new president in the United States, so I thought it would be appropriate to see what a former president had to say as he left office. Hi, I am grateful for hearing this translation (Dick Davis) of Shahnameh; and for all the efforts you have done to provide this audio book of Shahnameh! I have no doubt that kind voice of the reader well achieved general feelings and emotions in the heroic story’s atmosphere, which is great and also implies a good understanding of the story. However, I would like to mention that the impacts of the story is extremely high when it is read in Persian words! For example, I don’t know any Persian reader who has read the section of Rostaxm-Sohrab and had not had their eyes in tears. Of course, I understand that this is mainly due to the difference of the languages but I hope there be a way to convey the full impacts of the story for other languages readers. Something else that I would like to express is that Ferdowsy has implanted a secondary information in his writing, which highly likely is far from understanding for other languages readers; as it is not even easy for Persian readers to see it. For example, the name Hushang, son of Cavemorta composed of hush(=wit, wisdom, intelligence) and hang(=system, harmony) which denote the era that mankind had a sudden great intellectual development, starting with discovering fire. Another example, Jamshid; Jam(=sphere)+ Shid(shining) refers to the sun, denote the era that people of the area(Iran-greater Iran) had the ideology, culture and life based on illumination in the world creation, symbolised in the appearance of the sun. It would be great if there be a way to convey the secondary information of the book, which (in my opinion) was the main purpose of writing the book. Thank you!
Thanks you! Amazing!
Thank you. I do love this set of stories.

Hello my sweetheart!i wanted to tell you that i subscribed to your channel, and you'll see that your subscribers are a little many now.all the comments of this video are from the same person. The reason that i liked so much the story is because i have some sexual thoughts/fetichs with this schedule as i imagine women that i like in Irus role, and another woman of course in odysseus role.and i remake this story many times with readings and pictures of women that i like(huge &chubby women of course)at the base of this rhapsody.i like the beggining, the fight and the outcome, and the Echetus punishment. All these as sexual and fetich fantasy.
Hello dear, you won a subscribe for your excellent work and narration!keep up! It was a very nice rhapsody..do you think that the punishment of Irus by odysseus was enough?odysseus hit him and break his bones for good...why the suitors want to send him for castration/mutilation to Echetus?they didn't like him?
Thank you! I am glad you are enjoying the stories. Irus was a beggar and an arrogant one at that. Whether he deserved such a cruel punishment is questionable, but he knew what was at stake as he was told.
Hello, and well done for narration and your beautiful voice and passion. I liked it so much the outcome for Irus.he was rude and greedy and deserved that.❤the fight and the glancing blow that odysseus gave him and broke his neck bones. At my point of view,i agree with the suitors to send this mean and hulking Irus for castration/mutilation to Echetus,as it is a little hardcore.. What do you think about that? I believe that suitors sent him there,as the most listeners think!😊😊
I think that he deserved to be punished, but the punishment was a bit extreme. It was important that they followed through with what they said was going to happen.
@totallystories this punishment to Echetus is a little bit for discussion.do you think that they sent him finally??you think that this punishment hires a little of sexual attack and fetichism by the suitors??
Well done and congratulations for your perfect work.i liked the poem and i want to mention that i liked so much the fight and the defeat of this rude and greedy beggar Irus!!as for suitors punishment,do you think that it was a little brutal to send him to Echetus?? At my point of view is really fetichistic to cut Irus, nose, ears and testes..did they sent him finally to Echetus??i believe that they sent him,as Irus stood partially wounded and numb at the walls, and he couldn't stand at his feet...
Thank you I am glad you are enjoying my work. I do think they sent him to Echetus because Atninous told him what would happen if lost the fight.
It's pronounced Shah-Nameh, and not Shah-A-Nameh. In literal translation, Shah means "King," while Nameh means "Letter" or in this case "Book of". Figuratively, Shahnameh means epopee.
Thank you for the interpretation.

I love this movie, used to be my sick movie when I was little in the 90's
I am glad it brought back some memories for you. It is a great story.
The thing is that Memnon is NOT described believed or depicted as a Nubian African character in Hellenic mythology or culture. The mythical kingdom of Aethiopia from Hellenic Mythology has nothing to do with the Geographical Term of Aethiopia South of Egypt and Libya in history.
The images I used were from works of art and that is how some people painted him. I make no discernment of his race outside of what is mentioned in the story itself. Thank you for your input.
@@totallystories no problem. I'm just clarifying that in the original Hellenic story of Memnon and the Mythical Kingdom of Aethiopia have nothing to do with the Lands South of Egypt and Libya.
@@totallystoriesplus a lot of your images have nothing to do with Memnon or the Trojan war. For example 3:00 is the statue of Leonidas. Not Memnon. 4:00 is not the bust head of the hero Memnon from the epic poems. But of a pupil of Herodes Atticus. 7:00 is not Memnon from the Trojan war. But a fake picture of a random Roman soldier. etc.

@@vavtrudnir What is the name of this story?
@@totallystories There's two of them, and from what I can see they're not even digitized in the national library here. It's from a book called "I eventyrskog" by Nils Johan Rud. The first one could be translated to "Trace Trudgefoot" (Spor Tråkkefot), and tells the story about how trails turn into roads. The second one would be something like "The heat goblin" (Varmetufsen), and talks about how trolls and other magic beings get access to fire.
