Dropping a 75' hardwood
A big lean backwards meant I needed to use a jack to get the tree to fall where I was aiming.

Taking down a 75' hardwood with a big lean

I spent a morning taking down a huge hardwood for a farmer. A big back-lean present some challenges. I also pinch my bars on two of my chainsaws... The chainsaws in this video: Holzfforma G444 Supmix 6200 Ryobi 3716
Making boards for a sliding barn door

The wife asked for a sliding barn door for the laundry room. So I went to my Dad's forest/mill and we made some boards from dead ash.

Compare the cutting speeds between a Holzfforma G444 with a big bore kit, Supmix 6200, and Ryobi 3716 in 8" maple.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I used a chainsaw for about 50 yrs., and I never took my hands off the saw while sawing wood, NEVER.
Maybe you should have tried it then! It gives your hands and shoulders a rest for a second when you can stand up and let the saw work. I know some people feel strongly about not doing that, but as long as you know where your tip is, there's no risk.
If anyone can tell me what kind of tree this is let me know in the comments! My best guess is a poplar
prob a big maple tree loved the content make some asmr videos
@HudAman-mv7tb Thanks! I wish it was a maple. Sadly not.
