He came storming into the Airdrie team, five goals in three matches, and has faded into anonymity since the early days of the League Cup games. To be fair, though, we have almost a full team out through injury, including Liam McStravick (Cliftonville, Linfield), so Wilson isn't getting the service he needs.

What did it compare to the northern Irish cup final

Was in the Premium end, surrounded by two athlone fans, two Longford fans, two Wexford fans, a Wexford man myself but a Bohs fan. Was a great final and best team won, a disappointing season for Derry despite having the leagues joint top scorer. Meanwhile winning the cup is a massive €525,000 for Drogheda plus €35,000 for winning g the cup.
