I don’t disagree at all. Although I will admit I am a closet tech player, I love trying and experimenting with the new tech. But I know better than to implement it with staff without a clear purpose and plan in place. But I am loving what Synthesia is doing!! Still playing!! And you had me at Spaghetti--os….😎

I watched the video and I still disagree with the overall consensus but can agree with a lot points like you can’t just start implementing AI without the right “trench work” 😊. Disruptive innovation is very quiet and doesn’t happen overnight and the truth is agents who don’t use AI WILL get left behind this is fact. I wouldn’t say it’s fear mongering rather just blowing the whistle letting agency owners understand the importance of implementing the AI in its early stages rather than falling behind. An agent who uses AI to say… answer UW question for their team, reconcilie commissions, cut down quote time to minutes, generate automation templates in a fraction of the time ect the list goes on and on, but how will analog agencies ever be able to keep up at the same pace without using the same AI leverage? Like the video stated there are plenty of successful agency owners out there without any tech but that is honestly luck let’s be real(in the sense of they opened agencies before AI began to disrupt insurance)and like the saying goes luck is just that and it can be good or bad. Analog agencies are not going to be prepared for the disruption if they do not wake up and realize that AI is not a shiny object… some of the new software that has AI in it might be but not AI as a whole.

This terminology is all new to me. Do your suggestions also apply to insurance brokers who don’t have their own insurance agency? Thanks for sharing

What kind of insurance are we referring to in this video?

We utilize our agency management system accounting software. Always have, even after changing systems three times in 35 years. It is FULLY integrated. For me, I could not imagine NOT using it, especially since we paid a lot of $ for the agency management system as a whole.

I have worked at the same corporation for ten years and covered multiple offices. Anytime I was commissioned I was good and transferred. Agency owners thrive on turnover new business. Of all the offices in the state I work, there are zero left of the producers I worked with. Agency owners do not want to pay but want all the money and not do any work. I have seen this in every office I have been in. They hide behind a wall or in a back office. Take a payment with three people waiting? I think not. No health benefits, no pot, lowest hourly wage that match McDonald’s. Owners are the laziest group with the highest income.

Your content is WONDERFUL, man, and I love enthusiasm, but thought I should give you some feedback that I really had to fight the urge to bounce from this video several times because of the frenetic delivery. It was like being around a family I once knew who drank Coke and ate chocolate chip cookies all day and had a Yorkie who was as tremblingly nervous as they all were. I loved them all, but it was honestly not easy to be around them.

I pay all my producers a salary with a raise each year, but I am a small 3 person operation around $2 Million in premium. It's just easier to get everyone paid a wage then introduce bonuses in good months. Just trying to figure out those bonuses which is what led me here.

Good video, i hate getting spam calls and texts. I actually have started sueing these companies for violating tcpa. I wish more companies followed your advice. The person who taught me about TCPA is Doc compton, turning robo calls into cash. Great place to get started and learn about tcpa laws at federal level then there is also state tcpa laws.
