Both Ultra and Garmin have top-tier tracking systems, and their data accuracy is excellent. I don’t think there will be a significant difference between them. So, choose the one that fits your lifestyle better. 3. Button design If you’re not a fan of the Ultra’s button design, you could consider the Apple Watch Series 10. It’s lighter, more portable, and has a simpler design. Maybe that could be the one for you! 4. Battery issue Thanks to fast charging, I think this can be easily managed. You could even try using both watches together, like I did in my video-haha! I guess Garmin might release the 975 next year. If by the time you read this, you’ve already made the switch, then just ignore what I said above. 😄 If we set aside budget concerns, let’s talk about the strengths of the 965. You’ve already mentioned them, so I won’t repeat those here. As for the downsides you mentioned, here’s what I think: 1. Sensor: It’s true that compared to the Fenix 8, the 965’s sensor feels a bit outdated. But honestly, I don’t think it’ll have a noticeable impact in everyday use. 2. Plastic Material: The use of plastic is exactly what makes it so much lighter than other watches. You’d know what I mean, especially as an Ultra 2 user, right? 3. Screen Protection: The 965’s screen is scratch-resistant, so there’s really no need for a screen protector. I’ve used my Apple Watch 3 for six years without a screen protector. One time, I fell while skateboarding and the screen landed face-down and shattered. I even recorded a short video about it-check the link below if you’re curious. Honestly, even with a screen protector, that fall wouldn’t have been survivable!
