    very intresting experiment measurement Sir. What if you measure more than one filter at the same time? should it be overlap or something

      Hi Gery, thanks for your comment. If you combine more filters the result can be different. In general, you have to multiply the two transmission spectra, so if you combine the yellow and red, basically you have the same result of the red alone. If you combine red and blue or green, basically you have black (all the light absorbed). Hope this is useful.

      Thank you! Since the measurements are in transmission, I collected the spectrum without any sample and I used it as a reference. Hope I've answered to your question

    How to calibrate the REFRACTOMETER?

      The Abbé refractometer can be calibrated with pure liquids, such as deionized water and solution of water and sugar with exact concentration.
