In this video, some experiments for the measurement of the refractive index and sugar content of liquids using the Abbe refractometer are shown.
Moreover, the basics of the Becke line method are reported.

The Abbé refractometer can be calibrated with pure liquids, such as deionized water and solution of water and sugar with exact concentration.
