@@roadsterdream oh cool! I'm planning to put eibach lowering springs on mine, and il motorsports sway bars. Hopefully that will be enough to have some control while sliding the car. Do you always initiate with clutch kicks?

@@2pac1411 Those mods will help a lot for sure, so go for it! I do clutch kick almost every time, especially when I do things like this in dry conditions.

I didn't get any. If your cars power is stock, than you will not have any issues from this. Of course tires will wear out, but it's the part of the game. Go on, have fun! ;)

I drive my stock nc like this and even worse almost every day. Need to change the tires and oil sometime nothing big.

Ha jönnek szemből, akkor nem csinálok ilyesmit. Ha megfigyeled, mindig a kanyar 2/3-a környékén indítom el, tehát akkor amikor már látom a kanyar utáni helyzetet. Nem véletlenül.

It's the factory steering wheel, just been renovated :)

There are various techniques, to get a car sideways. I personally prefer clutch kick, when you're on the gas, and suddenly step on the clutch for a sec (while your right foot is still on the gas).

Same engine, same platform, same mechanical solutions. So it's literally the same performance car. Hovewer NC2 looks so freakin much better in every shape. :)

No auto will compare to a manual for fun and engagement, IMO. Maybe some newer auto's can be faster, but to me, speed is not the measure of a car's worth.

@@mikeb9569 ...Not true. Most race cars are auto's and so are most high end sports cars for a reason. Today's auto's are faster, more engaging, shift faster and are just more fun to drive. After two NC manuals I will never go back to one. My NC2 auto is superior to my two last manuals in every way. And, at freeway speeds, the RPM's are much lower resulting in better gas mileage and comfort.

@@scottoworn I have perfected smooth as silk heel and toe technique and my shifts are smoother than an auto shift. I enjoy approaching a corner, heel and toeing to rev match into the perfect gear to blast out onto the straight that follows. I'm not giving that up unless I have to.

how come i always see NCs get rod knock more than any other gen?

@@vertigoEdits some problem with the seals between the pistons and the cylinder walls being eroded causing oil to burn and eventually rod knock

Thanks! Actually I did it in 1st gear. However when I do something similar in 2nd gear I always clutch kicking.

@@roadsterdream oh wow, the few times I tried in 1st gear, I ended up spinning out😅. Im able to control it so much better in 2nd that I just assumed that was the way to go in the NC. You have inspired me to try again in 1st gear!

@@KeisukeAndrew 2nd gear is healthier for the car, so you do it in the right gear. Actually I bought the car cca 3 weeks before this video, so I just started to feel the car :D

Suspension was upgraded with a set of ölhins road&track coilover and eibach anti rollbars. And good big clutch kicks for sure ;)
