There's something weird about Anya Taylor-Joy
Переглядів 48 тис.3 місяці тому
Anya Taylor-Joy has a unique and intriguing vibe that sets her apart from the typical Hollywood star. Known for her ethereal looks and intense screen presence, she often embraces quirky roles that highlight her offbeat, almost otherworldly charm. Whether it's her unconventional fashion sense or her ability to fully dive into strange, dark characters, there's something delightfully weird about h...
Meet the Baldwins
Переглядів 3,3 тис.3 місяці тому
In this video, we dive into the lives of the Baldwin brothers-Alec, Daniel, William, and Stephen-Hollywood's most famous sibling quartet. From Alec's headline-making roles to Stephen's rise in faith, we'll explore their varied careers, sibling dynamics, and how each brother has carved out his own niche in the entertainment industry. I’ll also briefly mention how Hailey Baldwin (now known as Hai...
Zoe Kravitz has a problem
Переглядів 87 тис.4 місяці тому
In today’s video, I’ll break down Zoe Kravitz's problematic past including her history of predatory relationships and internalized racism. We’ll talk about Zoe’s alleged relationship with a 14-year-old Jaden Smith and a 17-year-old Ezra Miller She has a new movie coming out titled Blink twice and that actually reminded me to make a video about her. I really enjoyed @Tronn9672 's video! Go ...
Girl u hating on Zoe for no reason.
I spot river phoenix ❤
Yeah i already saw the "problem", she was the "straight man" costar to seth rogen
I love Her but, the best chameleon by far is Andrea Riseborough: By far. One can barely recognize her from roll to roll. She absolutely inhabits every roll she's completely masters all accents and nuances. Long after I realized she was my favorite actress she fooled me over and over again! It's virtually impossible to see the actresses playing the Northern Irish protagonist in Shadow Dancer and the American TV reporter in Disconnect as the same human. Or the good Nurse in the "The Kindness of Strangers" as the same hottie playing opposite of Tom Cruise in "Oblivion". The list is endless and endlessly amazing.
The hell?,,, the movie that made her?,,,, please. She was in a whole bunch of other stuff . That movie did NOT make her
Im shocked that she even got famous in the first place because she's like the Madonna of acting where she's just overrated to me. So I wouldn't be surprised by the rumors.
If it was some male vs female thing then they'd be saying it about a lot of other actresses too. I know people who have worked behind the scenes with her and they don't have anything nice to say, and these are other women. Stop trying to use "ists" and "isms" to avoid accountability. She's significantly ruder then other actresses so she stands out as the rude one, simple as that.
So she was rude because she expressed opinions people didn’t like/ agree with?
@bridget_the_youtuber No, it's her day to day behavior of acting entitled and better then everyone while talking down to set workers and other staff as well as her and her mom cussing people out in professional settings. This video only covered a small portion of why she's disliked.
Are we still pretending will smith slapped chris rock????!! I Pause it at 8:54 to write this And just looking at the still image is as fake news as it gets The right hand the left shoulder ugh And if lisa bonet is half white and lenny kravitz is half white their daughter cant be half white....
She was so cool - she’s so annoying now
Speaking as the spouse of someone who is TV film crew...they complain about the 17 hour days too. A lot. Mine has worked shows where he did nearly 80 hours a week. KH was right about that shit.
Great Video! I completely forgot she was cancelled for this lol but also ironic how the canonically worst actor to work with is seth rogens' bud james franco🤔
it looks like to me she has bleached her skin as well as the other "physical" changes that she did to herself
She is so so pretty
hollywood is nearby the end
Aww. I love thick eyebrows. Poor girl.
The answer is that she’s a smoke show.
She is a queen. She really did deserve better. I love her.
In my opinion, I think she deserved it. You don’t put down the movie that put you on the map and you don’t put down the writers who had already won you and Emmy with their writing. She deserved it and don’t think I’m in the minority think that.
You are not in the minority. It is the first thing I said when I clicked start. She deserved the cancellation. She insulted the talents who gave her a break. It is not always necessary to run your mouth. Get the job done. Move on if you don't want those types of parts.
I don't blame her. I would done the samething. Ain't her fault that other people can't handle honesty.
Lesson learned. I think she's at a great place now. Unfortunately, I feel like her mother perhaps influenced her in the way she spoke of certain things. Watching that Emmy speech saying, "My own Mother said I wouldn't win so I didn't prepare a speech" I mean I feel like that says a lot of how she saw herself in fame like she didn't deserve awards or praise. I'm not saying she isn't all at fault, but her manager Mom definitely played a part, if you think about it! 😢
is it wrong knowing shes a predator makes me want her EVEN MORE?
As someone who watched Knocked Up an umpteenth amount of times as a kid, she is completely right. I can’t even stomach that movie as an adult. Katherine is an incredible actress and the hollywood machine chewed her up and spit her out as soon as she wasn’t marketable for them anymore. Deplorable.
I remember Ellen Pompeo saying something about how Heigl's romcom queen career fizzled out after she left Grey's. Hugely passive aggressive and openly pandering to Shonda Rhymes.
Omg go Ellen!
She was 100 accurate about how women were treated in that shitty film
She‘s a super talented actress and smart woman. I somehow do not like her. What I see of her. I don’t really know why
ask not axe
Huh?
@@bridget_the_youtuber you pronounce the word ask as axe
@@DeadPiixxel haha…English is not my first language lol… I speak like two other languages so I tend to get stuff mixed up
It’s a valid way to pronounce “ask” though
Girl bye
It's very difficult to understand the career of Katherine Heigl without knowing about "My Father The Hero."
My sister used to be a "bitch", turns out she was struggling with PMDD that whole time.
I think Katherine is simply an imperfect person like any of us. I think she probably was a little hard to work with, because I remember there were rumours about that as early in her career as Roswell (and the same could be said for most of the teens on that cast, and several of them have admitted they let the fame go to their head) but I have a feeling she is not really any worse than most actors and actresses in Hollywood. And tbh, she wasn't wrong about Knocked Up being sexist and her character being a shrew. Katherine's real crime is stepping on the toes of two people with more power than her IMO, as well as being a female. Men can absolutely get away with saying comments like Katherine has said and worse (more specifically white men). But also, because both Judd Apatow and Shonda Rhimes were at the peak of their careers at the time, that absolutely made things worse. If Katherine had insulted the movie/show of someone who didn't have their pull, it might have blown over a little easier. I also think to a degree, her comments were blown out of proportion - she didn't insult Knocked Up entirely, her original comment was purely about her character. And to be honest, the material she got in the third season of Grey's didn't live up to the material she had in the second season, which was the height of her story arc. 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway, it's a shame she has never been able to claw back a career the way many men do in this industry all the time. For all the assholes who cry "cancel culture", Katherine is someone who absolutely suffered from it before it was a thing.
Idk, I feel like she was "cancelled" more because she was kind of a turd and shit all over the greys anatomy writers, didn't she receive a nomination one season and come out like nah I don't want this because this season was shit. She has a pattern of shitting all over the people who make the projects she's in which is... clearly not the way to go? Like, if you don't vibe with the role literally don't fucking take it. you shouldn't take it anyway then shit all over your boss VERY PUBLICLY.
The eyes being further apart than most people's, is a very attractive trait to me. They aren't freakishly far apart, but perfectly far apart. Britney Spears has that trait too and she is _THE_ most beautiful woman who's ever had a face.
this was so good! absolutely going to follow you <3
Thanks!
10:30 I hate this so much because this is EXACTLY what Robert Pattinson & Jacob elordi did and they were PRAISED for it. It is so obviously sexist & gross
Yes!!
That’s not the same thing though. Even back then twilight was known for being goofy fandom that people didn’t take seriously. And Elordi was only casted for his part based on looks and stripping off his clothes for those movies. There was nothing in them that showcased his actual acting skills
@@Jprager that's not the point. twilight & the kissing booth launched robert & jacob to their current stardom. Neither of them would be as well known if it weren't for those roles. it's doesn't matter whether their parts were 'goofy' or aimed at teen girls -- they still sh*t on the very thing that made them famous & people ate it up. but when katherine did the same thing, people hated her
@@motherlee20 yess it is the point. Just as in the case for a woman. Why would you give props to a role that objectified you and utilized you more for looks rather than acting. That’s all Elordi was, barely any real dialogue and with his shirt off half the time
I think she was typecasted as being a difficult woman in all the movie roles she played and that doesn't help with her public persona when all we see on the screen is a difficult woman.
I was just talking to my husband about this yesterday, wow
I crossed paths with her in person circa 2008 on the set of Grey's anatomy and she seemed really stressed out. I saw her smoking by herself in a golf cart way off to the side of the set away from everyone else. I feel like there was already a lot of friction and she was under strain. When she passed by me in the hall in costume, she had this harassed, hunted look on her face, like she'd just had a major argument with someone. I feel she was the victim of Hollywood bullying rather than inherently difficult
Well I wasn’t expecting the Mormon twist.
Great video!
Thanks!
I have always loved her and I couldn’t believe that she was difficult as they say. Now it all makes sense 😢
I truly believe she was being black balled. It just doesn't make sense how she was bulldozed over spilled milk. Her opinions must has p*ssed off someone in a high place. And why haven't we heard a bunch of celebrities come out and talk about how difficult she was to work with. Individual celebrities never said anything negative about her that stuck. Makes you think.🤔
@iamdisgusted Yes, it's extremely sad!
Her only crime was having her own opinions.
Wait no that was a joke I 100% agree with you
Exactly!
Literally!!!!
I remember being young and seeing a tabloid title that stated she was “difficult” to work with. It’s insane how quickly you can be blacklisted when you say something they don’t like.
Don’t recall being difficult ever hurting Russell Crowe and the like
I think she is a strong outspoken woman and she got a bad rap.
Surprised you didn't mention her voicing Princess Peach in The Super Mario Bros Movie
when you are 17, you are supposed to like boys who are 17 and then you have to switch gears and a year later have to vomit, when you like one? ok, whatever you say
10:23 ppl had backlash to her showing some class??? You cant win on the internet
Her stating the fact that she is multiracial and not flat Black should not be a problem it’s literally true lol. Not exactly sure how that comes off as internalized racism. It seems like she’s calling out the absurdity of how society expects you to be when it comes to the whole idea of what it means to be Black. Many people do this including Black Americans. We’re multifaceted people so even if she does actually struggle with parts of her identity she’s really not alone or special in that regard. She’s also not a villain for it lol
Yeah i dont understand the argument at all some ppl are so weird as to say Us mixed ppl arent even black the internet got yall minds gone
Yeah it’s true😅
I think she’s beautiful and talented and a woman so I love her. Hope she’s having a nice day. Men on the other hand need to be put in prison for all the crimes they constantly commit against women and their rights. Zoe made an incredible movie about the subject actually, so she also taught me a lot. Looking up exclusively to women has changed my life for the better.
So, you never got to the point of the video... Great.
If Kim Carnes was as big in this century as she was in the last one, she'd be coming out with "Anya Taylor-Joy Eyes."
Anya would play Elsa SO well I genuinely couldn’t see anyone else
