I’m thinking of getting this exact jack plate. Currently I have a cmc tilt and trim. My only question is how do you trim the motor to get it on plane with a jack plate? Do you use the holes in the motor with the pin to adjust it and keep it at one setting the entire time ?

Very cool you take your son with you My son was all over the duck blind it was driving me nuts. Quite Sit-down untill I got him a B.B.gun and everything changed. 410 for the next couple yrs I've hunted ducks here since 85 the S marshes are hit and miss further inland ( white oak river ) Beaver ponds it's just rough duck hunting in N.C had great days I've found the river system are better. Puddleducks and divers Great show awesome you involve your son

About expected for topsail... not what it was 10-15 years ago. I used to slay out there. Not sure what's changed other than the massive influx of hunters

From the great North public duck blind yes need to bring toys. They need to bring a little breakfast, and most of all, keep filming memories that are made better than A. Whining dog, even though we love them, both god bless from the great northwest priceless.

This is how lifetime memories are made. The whining and fussing and fidgeting... that's all just part of it. Looked like a pretty morning out there, and yeah... slow time of year. Maybe we'll get a break in December and get some birds down here!

It was hard to tell from the video - how much larger was the newly cut hole in the mounting plate? 1/2 or so on 3 sides of the hole?

I hunted there 51 years ago. To hunt there now would be a joke. The out of state bear tag has risen so high it is robbery by the State of NC

Hey I’m not the one to comment on videos but you should put some type of metal plate in the inside to spread the load of your outboard you’re gonna mess up the transom. Like yours videos keep them coming
