@@daneankim874 Hey! I did place it under honors as I had to compete against others to earn the position. That being said, it can honestly go either under honors or an experience. The admissions committees honestly don’t care as long as you’re not double dipping and placing it in both. Hope this helps and good luck applying!

Hey! First off congrats! That’s an amazing accomplishment. You are early into the application cycle so that’s a great sign. I think the best advice I can give you is to be yourself. It sounds cliche but I’ve noticed there is a lot of personality within my class. Don’t be afraid to show your character because that will make you stand out amongst the rest. Obviously staying professional at all times is important. Aside from that, don’t be too hard on yourself. They clearly like you on paper as you got offered an early interview invite so as long as you show them you’re personable you will do fine! Be confident (not cocky)! We haven’t! We wanted to use the loupes extensively for the first couple years to ensure we don’t have any problems or change our mind. As of now, we love our decision. The Lumadent light was recommended to us by D2-D4s at the time due to its long battery life and brightness. I can confirm, it’s a really solid light that lasts multiple days of use which I think is very valuable considering when we get to clinic it will be annoying to switch out the batteries constantly. As for the adapters, Lumadent will provide you with the adapter that will attach on to your current loupes so there’s no issues with that! Hey! It was a really tough decision. We both got into UPenn and Maryland Dental. However, we heavily took finances into consideration. Maryland offers instate tuition after the first year making it a more affordable for Kathleen and UPenn offered me the scholarship making it my cheaper option. We also considered travel distance and realized it was feasible to see each other every weekend while in dental school. Finally, we wanted to attend schools that valued clinical and hands-on experiences and from what we heard, both programs excelled in this. All in all, we're happy with our decisions and both love our programs!

Couldn’t agree more! I just wanted to show what resources my classmates used to study for their DAT in addition to showcasing their results. However, once you get in, it’s 100% meaningless.

Hey! Call the prometric testing center in which you’re taking your exam and tell them them you’d like to schedule a mock test and will help you out👍

@@nihaahmed7616 Hey, there is a fee. I think its around $50 to schedule a mock test. I personally don't think its necessary to take the mock test. However, I would recommend driving to your testing center before your test and walk up to the front desk to make sure you know where to park and where to go on your test day. Good luck!

I used bootcamp so I can only vouch for them. Their tutors, layout, practice questions, and schedule is unmatched in my opinion. The program prepares you extremely well. I’m sure booster might be similar but I’ve heard more good things about bootcamp than booster. Some people use both resources and say they preferred studying with bootcamp. Whichever you go with, I wish you the best of luck studying. If you choose bootcamp, use code “DentalDuo10” for 10% off your purchase!

In retrospect, It could go under experiences or achievements. I would recommend putting it under achievements if you were assigned the position but have yet to start the position. If you have served the position for some time, then I’d suggest putting it under experiences. For your question, I’d put it under honors if you have yet to start the position. Hope this helps!

Hey! All you need to do is be apart of you schools ASDA chapter. From our experience, our schools sent an email out with sign ups. Spots were limited so we had to write a few responses on why we want to attend. We were fortunately both selected👍

Hey! We both have dental roommates. Kathleen lives in a 4x4 and pays around $1100 a month with utilities and I live in a 3x3 and pay around $1050 a month. Hope this helps!
