I absolutely agree, the politics of the world has been very concerning as of late, as well as the state of our physical world and the health of her. Here in the US, it’s so terrifying to see what will happen in these next 4 yrs. With all that going on, it feels so strange to say that my 2024 was the best yr I’ve experienced in my adult life lol. I was finally in a place where all of my relationships were serving me as much as I served them and I finally did my first international trip to Japan all by myself. I started healing my attachment style before even going to therapy (which I also started this year). That’s not to say everything was perfect, but I flourished this year. Which kinda gives me survivor’s guilt in saying that.

(you had this US youtuber Cynthia G who could do a whole 30 something episode series entitled "Who they really choose", displaying US Black men and Black men in the UK with the White women they date ( many were obese, and physically not in the same "league" as the Black men. Usually, you don't see a, epidemics of obese White men with Black women. However, you got all threads with the Black wife/ GF effect, where White men GLOW UP, just by being in proximity with a Black woman. In France, the climate is really different. For instance, how would you translate in French "dating out of your race"? There is no expression to say that. It's not a taboo to date White men in France, they're not considered as a whole other class of people. Most of the time they are just a French guy who happens to be White, and really nobody cares. French Black women who were born and raised in France are not "impressed by" Whiteness. Hence, they won't date a White men, just for the sake of him being White, because there is no added value or prestige in being White in France, at least in interpersonal relationships. We see a lot of poor White people. We've been in schools with White people, at universities, they are not smarter, nor better, nor richer. There are castes in society, but they are not really determined by your skin color, nowadays.Being White does not mean you are from a higher social class or you have received a better education or whatever. If you remember the "Gilets Jaunes", they were a lot of White French people among them... Also the mobility from one social class to another is more stale in France. So basically if a Black woman date a White man that man would be from her own tax brackets. So , yeah, that's that. CONGRATS on the DJ gig!!!

You could also make those mixes videos like to study and clean. I really like watching those on UA-cam when I’m cleaning and or studying or working from home. Right now, I listen to a lot of Afro house/ afrotech and Ibiza kind of mixes because it’s either that or lo-fi mixes. And I think there’s not really a good mix of everything in between and you’d be perfect for that.
