@ done 👍
Love it mate, just watched it here from my home in Meuang Chaiyaphum
Yes, Chaiyaphum city is a very pleasant place to visit. I was surprised how much greenery the province had and how beautiful it was. Plan to explore more of the province in the future. Thank you so much for your comment and watching.
Nice video, thanks for sharing. Looks we crossed paths, we are also in Taphan Hin for past few weeks. We are actually in the west sub-district Huai Ket, just north of the center of Taphan Hin. Happy trails!
I have visited Taphin Hin many times over the last few decades. Most of the time just transferring to a bus but also spending a night there if need be. There is a full episode filmed a few years earlier on a link at the end of this promo. Thank you for watching and your comment. Please subscribe to the channel if you are interested in what it has to offer.
Best of Thailand is at dawn, and brother, you always capture that moment.👍 please write down the prices of food you purchase as a record for change of time. I recall that you use to write them in early videos.thanx
Yes, dawn is always the best times for experiencing life in Southeast Asia. Prices are no longer listed because they may not reflect the current prices. Oddly after Covid I have found many prices for eating out have not changed. Chicken with Rice was 30 baht and the Crispy Pork with Basil was 40 baht. Prices have risen mostly as always in the tourist/expat areas like Hua Hin and Chiang Mai. Get away from foreigners prices for about everything are always cheaper.. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.
Watching this from England, we’re travelling to Thailand in February and will go north from BKK into the Issan province.
Korat and Buriram are great cities to spend a few days. Not many foreigners in these cities compared to where most tourists travel to. Thank you very much for your comments and watching. Steve Rosse recommended you so here I am…. also my cousin Andrew lives in Buriram.
Shocked to hear from Mr. Rosse but thank him for me . It is a very nice city if you have never visited there before. Thank you very much for watching and making an effort to comment. Please Subscribe to the channel if you wish and leave a Like if you enjoyed any of the shows.
Very nice
Thank you for your comment and watching.
amazing view
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.
...lights , early morning for good shots are best n calm.takes great efforts to wake up but worth it.great job.
Best time for any filming in Thailand is right before sunrise until about 10 am afterwards sun is too bright and very hot. Afterwards you have a few hours before sunset. I wake up every morning at 3 am often out wandering by 5 am often walking to a morning market for breakfast and coffee. I love the cooler weather and more quiet in the mornings. Thanks for watching and your comment.
I'd totally love to take this train. Scenic route it is.
I lost count how many times I have traveled this train route many times to visit the smaller towns. First train in the morning out of Kanchanaburi is best going towards Nam Tok. Thanks for your comment.
I like the River Kwai Bridge Train jouney... Well done
Thank you for your comment and watching. There is a series I have done over time on the various train routes in Thailand. Hopefully Malaysia in the near future besides the travel episodes.
Nice video 👍

Brings back memories of many years ago. Pity not too many views but it would seem that places like Pattaya and the Nana plaza tend to pull in the views. And there's a whole bunch of boys and girls on tourist visas bouncing in and out of the country doing that. I suppose with this type of channel it's a real long haul affair sadly!
This channel was never intended for your typical Full Moon Party idiots, Sexpats, Hippy Dippy Moochers, and or those 99% that follow each other like sheep, Eat at the same places, sleep in the same places, visit the same places, nor miserable looking expats who refuse to learn any Thai and overall just look miserable. If you are unwilling to think outside the box , toss the shit guide book in the trash, stop watching UA-cam IDIOTS who can not count to five in Thai, or have any courage to wander by yourself this channel is NOT for you.
@@destinationsroadslesstraveled Yes, unfortunately Thailand is a hotspot for many of these types.
Looks beautiful
A very beautiful province with a very dark history. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Thank you for the ride!
I have traveled this route dozens of times over the years. And thanks for the comment.
OMG !!! Even thou I consider myself a good tasty cook those food pics look other worldly special
I was just there again for few days ago. Have yet to see a single foreigner eating Thai food there. Typical! They would die without 7-11. Please do not forget to leave a LIKE if you enjoyed the program.
I visit here quite often. There are some great places around the area. All the food looked yummy.
I will be there myself once again within the week to rest and eat, eat, eat, before moving on again.
Great place
Have visited this city numerous times over the years as it makes a great layover when I am traveling on the trains. Wonderful and cheap Thai food anywhere surrounding area the temple. After all these years still have yet to see a foreigner eating Thai food here. As normal head directly for 7-11. YUCK! Thanks for your comment and watching.
nice lighting/photographyand peacefull soundtrack---thank-you
Thanks for your comments. A great location to chill for a few days in an area where thousands died making the railway. There was a P.O.W. camp not far from Wang Pho itself.
@@destinationsroadslesstraveled ---another great 2013 movie about PTSD suffering starring Nichol Kidman and Colin Firth called "The Railway Man " won many awards
Yes watched more than once. They changed the Kanchanaburi station to Tham Krasae station in the movie. Kanchanaburi station now too many tourists at times.
I'v been there
Are you sure ? 555
@@destinationsroadslesstraveled I think so
Looks a nice route, may check it out when I'm back in Thailand soon. I've enjoyed going to the northeast, near to Laos, interesting and friendly. You're right the mass tourist areas get annoying, rudeness from foreigners and Thais abound there sadly, big contrast to the rest of the country where people are generally welcoming, kind and friendly.
I plan to travel back to Issan as soon as possible to continue the series in that area. Thailand is changing rapidly and sadly not for the better more of these areas will be ruined once the foreigners invade. Thankfully the majority of places I visit are considered boring for most . Places like Hua Hin , Chiang Mai city, and Phuket are so over rated and phony in my opinion. Thank you so much for leaving a comment.
@@destinationsroadslesstraveled You're welcome, I like the channel gives me some ideas, thanks.
A place just bustling with activity!
Early morning before sunrise is always my favorite time of day exploring a place and getting a feel for the area. Petchaburi is a nice stop off for a few days when traveling. Good food about everywhere I went. Have fun in Japan !
We did! I was very impressed with Japan.@@destinationsroadslesstraveled
Cozy place,we cycled through the town
I enjoyed the river area very much. The only drawback is how far the hotels are from the train station. Otherwise a nice city to get away from the foreigner chaos locations. Thanks for you comment and please leave a LIke if you enjoyed this short episode.
Wonderful hidden gem
Yes it is a great place to spend a few days relaxing. Thanks for your comment.
The land of 'fake' smiles
Very sad that you believe that. Are you able to speak and understand Thai? Been burned by a Thai bar girl?
Every where has people with fake smile mate. Depends on who you bumped into. More importantly do you judge whole Thailand with fake smiles you might have encountered. However, some time if you keep bumping into all people with fake smile more than real kindly people, then you must look back and consider yourself mate.
Thank you so much for your words of wisdom and comment.
I was there two weeks ago.
And what did you think about Thong Song?
That was fascinating..what a fantastic place...just like Thailand i remember back in the day..i want to go there..thanks for taking me along
I have visited Thong Song many times and have never been disappointed as how friendly the Thais are. Not yet influenced by masses of foreigners. Thank you for you comment. Please leave a Like and Subscribe to the channel if you enjoy what is offered.
Quite informative: both the video and its description.
Yes can be a beautiful but deadly place and have to admit I wandered from time to time perhaps where I should not. But in some cases was guided by a Lao soldier who fought in the war with Americans. Thanks for your comment as always and be sure to give a LIKE on the episode.
It is amazing how much you say, without saying one word. Well done!
Thanks for watching and your comment. Leave a Like if you enjoyed the episode.
..both Laotian and Cambodian are equally poor at country sides.but we love the rural areas.did a 40days tour from north Vietnam , ended in Thailand.mainly we asian are visa free.did countless time border crossing.gimme shelter was appropriate 😅
Have been to both Laos to various areas many times and Cambodia only once. Not really into bigger cities anywhere myself enjoy the countryside and smaller towns mostly. Thank you very much for your comment and watching.
thanks for sharing the place
There are still portions of Laos to escape the crowds of foreigners thankfully. Thank you for your comment.
Absolutely beautiful place and pizza looks delicious and tasty. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Lot’s of love from Switzerland ❤❤❤
It is well worth the visit to relax and eat there. Please Like & Subscribe to the channel if you enjoy what is offered. And thank you for the comment.
Looks like a nice place there
Yes it is and great food also.
A new upload after more than a month. Finally. Lovely video.
Yes true the longest gap in time since the channel started. Life has a way of suddenly changing in a different direction when you least expect it. Self and family first priority in life. UA-cam pays 000 ! But hopefully more exciting adventures into the unknown soon.
good pizza and good place too
Yes it is as I plan to return again soon to try many items from the menu. Beautiful quiet place away from all the chaos. Thank you for the comment.
What a great venue for great pizza! Thanks for sharing!
Far from you in Issan but if you happen to be in the area #1 damn good pizza.
I loved my time in Buriram. Real Thailand, with beautiful friendly people.
Buriram is one of my favorite cities in Issan. Thank you for leaving a comment. Please Like, and Subscribe to the channel if you enjoy what it offers.
Thai food is so good and this market looks amazing, we can't wait to get back there again soon
There is another longer episode on the channel. One of my favorite cities not far from Bangkok to spend a few days wandering the streets and eating. Thank you for your comment and leave a Like if you wish.
You really captured it all! Nice job!
Thanks for your comment and watching.
... like the bike riding cow boy😅
Thank you for your comment and watching.
We have always seen famous places in Thailand but this one is almost a hidden quaint place. Thanks for giving us the tour....
There are numerous quaint locations throughout Southeast Asia that have yet to be ruined by mass tourism and crowds of foreigners. Please Subscribe to the channel if you enjoy what it offers.
I love travelling by Songthaew, it's really fun, but after 5 hours I'd have a very sore back and leg muscles (struggling to stay on the seat). Lovely views outside as well as inside, and very nice music. Some clips look extremely wide-angled, what lens did you use? L12 and greetings from Bangkok!
I have to agree Songthaew travel for over three hours is really hard on the body. I use a SJ6 LEGEND a cheaper style GoPro.
Thanks. It's quite effective in getting it all onto the screen!@@destinationsroadslesstraveled
Some people watching this from their a/c resort accommodation will not recognize it as parts of the real Thailand.
Likely not and I doubt they have any Samlaw bike taxis where they are.
Shit most Thai people barely recognize it as Thailand. They hate the good people of Issan and write them off as Lao people.
Enjoyable watch and i like the use of music too
Thanks for making an effort to leave a comment. Leave a Like if you wish.
amazing adventure,i enjoyed it
Thank you for watching and your comment.
Good to see that someone is doing videos of Chon Daen. From no 7/11 to 3 seven elevens. Chon Daen have become more modern as well.
Yes Chon Daen has changed over time but not yet ruined by mass tourism and thankfully will likely stay ignored. May I ask your whereabouts and knowledge of the area? Please LIKE if you enjoyed the episode and SUBSCRIBE to the channel if you enjoy what it offers. Thank you for your comment and making an effort to.
I lived my first 2 years there, and have almost gone back to visit my family frequently every year since. I was born when Chon Daen still didnt have hospital for child birth so my mom had to travel to Taphanin and give birth to me and my twin brother. At that time Chon Daen was a really rural place and with few foreigners. Nowadays Chon Daen have more foreigners visiting. But still a good place to travel for tourists if they want to visit a typical thai small town.
Fun facts, Chon Daen lies in the Phetchaboun district. Which is called the district of tamarind. Thailands tastiest tamarind is here ;)
hello from Chicago, so beautiful and peaceful, I hope to visit these area with my family
Yes this is one of the beautiful parts of Thailand that this channel focuses on not locations already ruined because of mass tourism and greed. I think you have a really travel sense that you really want to learn travel experience through the real life in every place you go. This is awesome mate.
Just not into traveling to popular places over run with crowds and crooks. Very phony in my opinion and never really experiencing a different culture. You have to be willing to takes risks more than the common person.
