My name is Heath and I have been building old cars with my dad since I was a kid. This includes building street rods, muscle cars, hot rods, rat rods, drag cars, and rust repair and basic fabrication and chassis builds. All this is done in my spare time, after work, and on the weekends. I've used parts from swap meets and old car parts I've collected over the years. I only work with basic hand tools and do all the work myself in my garage. I hope my fabrication skills will help inspire someone to get out in their garage and start building their dream car.

Thanks !!! Take it easy!!!
@@fullmoonhotrodswhere have you been?!😊
@ I have been working just a lot of things going on just haven’t had time to make videos you know how life goes. Looking forward to start back making some new videos soon. Take it easy !!!!
What up
Beautiful 💜
enjoyed your video I am getting ready to weld up a whole body just from panels will buy some and make some
I think your tabs on your bottom piece should be inside your fender well then it would be hid and the bottom piece would line up with your body contour better
Correct that to the "frame was almost sitting on the spring."
Tried different ways to get my front lowered until I had it so low (still not enough rake for me) that the frame was almost sitting on the frame and the ride was like riding in a buckboard. Had to raise it up. Wish I had known enough to notch the frame above the spring to give it more travel. Keep up the good videos.
That's what I call old school hot rod
Yah would be nice if they made one to convert a Chev 6lug to 5 lug! Now theres a money maker.
Any new progress?
I have been very busy. Hopefully I can start back making some new videos before to much longer.
K.tal.makinaso.
Question: would a small block with a points distributor and mounted as far forward as possible fit without firewall or hood mods. Thank you for the video.
It would be extremely tight you still may have to cut a little off the firewall to clear the transmission bell housing. Also a short water pump. I have always cut the firewall just to have a little more room. Thanks for watching!!
@@fullmoonhotrods thank you for the response
What happen? Nothing new for 9 months. I enjoyed watching and learning from your videos.
I am still working just had a lot going on
I haven’t had time to video anything. But I hope to start back real soon!
i doubt it matters - my haynes manual said to avoid using petroleum based oil on rubber bushing and instead to use cooking oil to avoid deteriorating the bushings. im sure if you clean it off itll be okay though, wd-40 is not some magical solvent that melts rubber lol! thank you for the video!
That’s true. Thanks for watching!
You guys really discussed me. There are hundreds of tanks with rusted out holes in them you could have bought ,or even been given. But no , in your infinite wisdom you go and chop up one of the best gas gas tanks I ever saw. I'm not a restorer I am a got rodder that tank would have been perfect on my rod or someone else's
Yes Sir it was a super nice tank !!!!Thanks for watching!
No Fenders, from Brasil
Are you still building this car?
Yes. I have had a lot going on working on other cars and life gets in the way sometimes. I hope to get back on the model A before to long and start making some more videos. Thanks for watching!!!
Working on a 34' ford truck and watching this helps on what to do. What steering box is that out of?
Thanks for watching. It’s a Vega steering box. I hope this helps!
Great video. I'm loving this build series. Question - is that enough angle on those top bars? Have you had any issues with the body/frame moving side to side at all? Also, what tubing size/wall thickness did you use for the 4-bar set up? Was it a kit? Thanks again. Great build!!
Thank you ! No it didn’t have any side to side movement. The 4 bar started off as a kit. Thanks for watching and take care!!
With hood and fenders. Both have great "curves."
Thank you. Thanks for watching!
Good job keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do! Thanks for watching!
Just ran across your channel. Even though I don't own model A Ford ( I own 1930 Plymouth) I still Hope to learn a few things from watching. I'm located in the most southern part of Indiana.
I hope the video’s help! Thanks for watching! Good luck with your 30 Plymouth they are very cool cars. Take care!!
i had just sent you a question about lowering and found this video, this was a great help thanks. rr
Glad it helped!! Thanks for watching!
i need some advice/help. i'm building a high boy coupe, i bought a speedway reverse eye spring, i need to lower it a little. i'm thinking about removing a leaf or two. how many do you think i can get by with, thanks ronnie
Nice job 😊
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Yeah I like the hood, just got one for my 30 roadster jalopy, but have not fitted it yet.
I'll be doing this to my '30 gas tank soon! Thanks for the good video(s)!
Thank you. Thanks for watching!
Helpful tip - when installing new studs, use a ball joint press… they go right in. Tool does all the work, you just use an impact
Good Tip ! Thanks for watching !!
You did not tell us what steering you were using and why
It’s a Vega box setup for cross steer. They drive great with this set up. Thanks for watching !!
cool my chassis is the same exact set up for my cabriolet
It is a good setup! Thanks for watching!
Coming right along! Looking clean and classic!
Thank you!! Take Care and Thanks for watching!
Looking 👀 awesome
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Hello excellent Job , what's the part number or where did you purchase front shocks mounts. I look in the Speedway Motor catalog but . Can you send me information for my build. Thanks again!
Mine are Pete and Jake front shock mounts. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Thanks again I will order two more front shock mounts from Pete's and Jake.
@@fullmoonhotrods hello again working on rear end shocks what weight and length that you use for the rear coil overs 250lbs spring 12"1/2" leght And 5/8 hold name brand, they are save. Thanks again.
Hi, I’ve been enjoying your build videos. What type of steering box did you use?
Thank you! It’s a Vega steering box. Thanks for watching!
Love ur videos heith...cheers from ca. 92251
Thank you! Thanks for watching !
Are you getting ready for modifications to the roof to make look like 32? Guessing
I just filled the roof but I am still going to use the model a material glued to the insert with hidem strip around the insert. I also did change the front corners of the top around the visor area but that’s about all I am going to change it. Thanks for watching!
I would place drum on floor to get more control and pressure.or better yet use my drill press
Thanks for watching! Either way would work good!
Those are copies of Rotten Leonard's. Wheel bolt pattern relocaters
They maybe I am not sure! They worked out real good! Thanks for watching!
Good Job...Check to see how it looks with the fenders on.
Thanks. Thanks for watching!
Nice work buddy... looks like you may need a water pump rasier
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Looks good
Thank you ! Thanks for watching!
maybe u could let me rent that drill pattern from u trying to drill 5x5.5 to 5x5 or i got this really nice aluminum fuel cell which would be great for one of your projects u could have it as long as u let m😮e borrow that for a week or two or rent it for like 40 or 50 dollers i no its kinda scary loan something like that to a starnger i just dont got the 150 dollers right now to buy that drill pattern
20 min of sand blasting.
Hey. You are doing a great job. That primer and paint you are using . If my Ol'Beater 54 truck. Has a coat of Rustoleum rattle can primer. That would all have to mome off?..
Thank you! I would sand the Rattle can paint off if I was going to prime the truck. The rattle can paint may react to the primer. Thanks for watching!
