I wish this was closer to home
Yes, I would definitely go there… I wish I were there now
Thank you for another informative installment of this series. You find interesting methods to share fun ideas. Did you ever think about careers in education?
Yes, I have! As a matter of fact, we are both in education. I guess that's coming through in our travels. Thanks :)
I have been to Napa Valley countless times and been to several wineries there and in the Lodi area. I’ve never done the train tour though. That looked fun and interesting facts about the Rice a Roni guy. Thanks for sharing this!
Well that looked like a fun day!! Toni and I need to do Napa one of these days.
All aboard 🚂🍇 our waitress had an amazing story!
Jesus Kawarthas are the worst lakes in Ontario, Muskokas & and anything north (Sudbury especially) are where the real lakes are
Not even close to the best place in Ontario let alone Canada
Hello maam I saw your videos your videos are very nice but your videos don't have much viz because you don't have seo in your channel you don't have seo in any of your videos and if you do seo in your videos then your channel will organically get subscribers and views in your videos
Basically look up
Congratulations and thank you for another informative adventure full of natural wonder and majestic beauty. This brings back memories of when I visited Uncle Roger Jacobs (age 83 at the time) in California. His excitement for sharing the Tall Trees amplified an unforgettable experience for me....read more... After driving and walking together as far as he could go, Uncle Roger insisted that I follow the looping trail on my own. Being reluctant to leave him at one of the trailheads, I followed his instructions while he waited for my return. After about ten minutes of walking, I began to realize that this encounter was his gift to me. That thought was confirmed later when I saw his happy face glowing with pride just as if he took pride in ownership of this forest. The trip home was full of great conversation about our family and about his time in California. That day I learned about a different type of gift: something voluntarily transferred by one person to another without compensation. By unselfishly and patiently encouraging my solo exploration, Uncle Roger created a lovely reminiscence of a lasting togetherness.
This is such a great story! The Redwoods made me feel something I hadn’t felt before and I believe I will feel again the next time I visit. Uncle Roger truly gave you a gift and a lasting memory ❤️ Thank you for sharing!
Oregon was so beautiful! Could California top it? We hope you stay tuned and sub to find out- youtube.com/@ournexttrail6029
Awesomeness!
Thanks for sharing the Oregon coast with us! Can’t wait to take the RV there someday!
😮 This was the ride of a lifetime! Hope you can check out the full episode
The Oregon Coast is nearly 400 miles long, but Don't be surprised if I tell you that Washington has a longest coast in the PNW.
Fucking side by sides ruined all the good fun. Thanks a lot
Looks like FUN! Thank you for showing us interesting, fun places and exciting, new experiences.
Thanks for watching!
Top bucket list item. Watching this makes me want to do it again! ❤❤❤❤❤
So much fun!! Toni and I grew up riding the imperial dunes in southern California. It's like a roller coaster without the track. Hahaha the sand!! Yes, we would spend a week camping in the dunes and everything was full of sand. Everything you ate had a certain crunch to it. So much fun to watch. Safe travels kids!!
Thanks for the comment. Can’t image camping in the sand!!😅
Ive lived on the lake my whole life love it
Every time it rains hard , Peterborough let's it's waste water plants overflow into rice lake.
I`m 53 and grew up 45 minutes away from Rice Lake. It's great to see people still coming from so far away to fish Rice. It's long been a favorite of Americans. The most fish per acre thing I remember reading in outdoors magazines back in the '70's. It definitely has the worst swimming per acre of any lake in Ontario. The fishing though....It can be tough like any lake. There's fish there but they are by no means jumping in the boat. It is true that big fish can be almost anywhere in the lake. Lots of weeds and other cover. I hope you did well.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate you sharing your experience!
Thank you! Parking for Haystack is my mission. ✌🏼🤟🏽👍🙏
You can do it!
Thank you for sharing this portion of your Trail in Oregon. I appreciate the sightseeing details and your selection of music. Your style used for editing and foreshadowing adds interest and clarity to the video. Great job!
Thank you very much!
You should plan a trip on the Oregon Coast! This episode and the two that follow in the next month will have you planning the trip of a lifetime! ❤ #ournexttrail
Thanks for uploading the video. That was interesting. The off road track videos I've seen so far have riders going very fast but this is probably much more realistic. So the lesson is that it's possible with a hybrid but not ideal. I hope to find some less rugged tracks here in Perth.
Thanks for visiting. As for the statistic about fish per acre, as a local, this is absurd. Of the 250k lakes in Ontario, rice lake is one of the worse! If you guys drove an extra hour there’s lakes absolutely LOADED with fish.
I'm a local too, and I've heard this claim before as well. Rice Lake is for sure loaded with fish (I almost always slay bass out there) but they tend to be pressured due to all the tournaments and tourists Still one of my favourite lakes, but I wonder where they get that statistic from.. EDIT** So I found that the Northumberland Tourism website lists that statistic stating it's from an MNR study... ..so there is basis to the claim, but like @keeganmulroy5163 said, there are many lakes in the area that are teeming with fish, that MNR probably hasn't studied enough
Fishing can be tough on any cottage country lake. They would need to drive another 12 hours and then get on a floatplane for half an hour to get to lakes where there is guaranteed great fishing. Rice lake can still have it's moments if you are at the right place at the right time.
Thanks for watching and sharing
You will love the Seattle hot dogs 🌭 like no other 😋
Southern in general all my family and cousins do it
We also do it in new york .. but it depends on the person .. its blue cheese or ranch with piZa
Gross
Ohio thing for sure
I’m from Texas ,most people I know eat their Pizza & Wings with ranch. I like just the sprinkled cheese & red pepper flakes. For the wings I go with cheese sauce 😋
"that's a lot of ranch" ☝️🤓 "nothing goes better with ranch than pizza"🗣️ "No one does the ranch thing on pizza"🧢🤥 "Everyone else thinks i'm crazy" 🤪 "It's an ohio thing" 😒 Poor guy sounds exasperated Fedora hat guy sounds like a kid at the adult table nobody wants to talk to lmao
Eating pizza with silverware is pathetic and should be illigal
That's actually how alot of people eat it in Italy. And they don't usually share a pizza you usually have your own individual pizza.
Then you've never been to italy
Nah dats a black ppl thing lmaoooo in grade school i saw everybody puttin ranch on they pizza shiit good ash
It would be great to have a partner who loves biking as much as I do, perhaps releasing some pressure would help
Jamming in Olympia 😮
I could eat pizza 🍕 every day! How about you?
Olympia is outstanding!
We are in the same boat as you, I can tell you that having looked at buying a truck is also a big factor in this. I have a 2 yr old 1500 and the numbers say that I can tow a trailer that fit our needs but… from what advise I’ve received from people who have done this before… I know now that I do need a bigger truck with more payload, payload is important as well as towing capacity getting a truck with all the bells and whistles (like crew cab) will give me less towing capacity, less payload. A strip down truck (2 wheel-drive, smaller cabin, short bed) will give me a few more pounds freedom, however the wife doesn’t care for a truck like that, all she wants is “a nice truck” I think when towing a trailer you need as many lbs freedom as you can get with out having to buy a $100K truck, you will find out how much you end up taking with you and those pounds add up, think about going up or down a mountain, and about the weight on the hitch of the truck (tongue weight) all that really matters, specially for a first timer, and very important too are trailer brakes and sway bars to stabilize the trailer, backing up is an art that I have no experience at all. Looking at the Ford truck with trailer park assist, there’s just too many factors about pulling a trailer that are a “must look at” last but not least is look for better pricing, some RVs are not insulated, 2 ACs I think is a must, a generator is a must, solar would be nice. Here is a website where prices may be better, there is a lot of these but here is just one. Happy Trails. CW DIRECT in Indiana, Let me know what you guys decided
Thank you for your help. I think we will pick the RV first and then get the truck that will do the job well
Not an easy decision is it? Trying to decide that myself
Thanks for sharing. Looking forward even more to my upcoming trip there. Hope to see your bobber on the water
❤ quite a view on top
