You are into the good stuff

As of now I think I have enough knowledge to at least program the bosses. I'm gonna see if my enemy spawn code will suit properly in the future. I calculated that the array would need to be about 20 times larger to fill a decen stage. My current goal is to program a better ship real shots and with a hitbox dot that is always above bullets.

I might lets play more shmups in the future like touhou or cave games. Shmups are my childhood.

Awesome! I wish it was possible to play the oscillators separately und tune up the second one for 24tet. Doesn't work because the second oscillator is chained to the first :/

Cool! Maybe you could put an effect pedal to hide or tame some of the scratchiness of the sound?

Correction: I meant adjust the pitch amount not the modulation rate. There is actually no limit to the transpose pitch which is even better
