FIRST TIME MOVING A CAR - Lesson ~ 1
The first one would not be a serious immediately. The handbrake being left on would be a minor for controls. If she then didn’t respond and you then told her, then it would be a serious. :)
You can do it Elsa
I remember when I got my drivers license. Everything went smooth and when we pulled into the parking lot I double parked. The guy turned to me and asked me, are you happy with that parking? I said no. He said, let's try that again. Then he said you've passed.
What is double parked?
If she left the handbrake on how the hell is the car still moving?
Checking before starting the car then barely checking when starting to move? I would prepare, check and move
The handbrake doesn’t actually stop the car from moving all together, if you try to move off, the force of the car wanting to go is stronger than the force of the handbrake holding the car in place. The same happens even with the biting point of the clutch, you don’t need to press the accelerator at all to move off when the handbrake is on in a lot of cars, but some cars are smart enough to lock the transmission so that the wheels can’t turn.
It should stop the car moving if it's applied fully. The car is FWD. The handbrake retards the back wheels. If the handbrake is applied fully it should prevent the rear wheels from turning. Partial handbrake will allow slip. Especially if the car is RWD. I don't believe the handbrake was fully engaged. If it was the Clutch biting point would require so much more throttle to overcome the drag created by the rear tyres. The front would lift. The back would squat. It would be so obvious. That's why a fully applied handbrake is used for hill starts. Lots of throttle for the biting point. Feel the car squat and release the handbrake.
Didn't know you could even drive with it on, I've got an electric handbrake which is different I guess.
Must be some dead handbrake if its not even stopping the car a little bit 😂😂
In new cars it probably does not do much if you're driving.
Do these instructors not care about their cars? He just sat there and let her grind his brakes in to dust😂😂
It’s a mock test
it's fine it's all about learning :) i did it a time or two when driving my instructors car.
Just ignore the sounds the car is making.
She was not sure what a hand break was!!!
“ so where we going?” “We’re gonna go left” *proceeds to go right* 😂😂😂
Shouldn't be a fault for hesistation. Choosing to drive safely in entirety rather than assessing risks as safe is a personal choice and has no legal backing for being a driving offense.
yeah not gonna lie continuing through the vid this guys a really shitty driving instructor. "fails to see an audi passing her from behind"... no the audi never passed and she clearly had a safe distance to get over as the other driver made the choice to close the one cars length distance between them before he was fully into his lane. Someone get this man better instruction
you are creating traffic when it is perfectly safe to proceed. If you are unable to judge distances and when you can or cannot go means you shouldnt be driving. fking mennace on the road.
That's a verry BAD driving instructor!!! Teach them how to drive like most EU countries does ( Italy is not included, they are almost as bad as Americans)😂
it's a mock test
I’m not her instructor, this is a mock test
@@ranjsingh-drivinginstructor Soo she still had a bad instructor...:( In Slovenia they would not let her anywhere near the road with that kind of driving 😁
I dont see a fault with waiting at the roundabout. She's not responsible for making the other road users angry, they need to be more patient. If you don't think it's safe for you to pull out onto a roundabout then you shouldn't pull out onto the roundabout.
I’d probably say it’s borderline serious fault for hesitation. She made the van behind cut around her.
Fail hard
Must be that horse filling her
She was waiting to finish work next friday😂😂
Thank you very much Ranj Singh. It is beneficial for learners or new drivers to drive in different conditions. You are a great driving instructor; your video helps us get more information about test routes.👍👍
I act exactly the way she is clearly shows that she is nervous im a nervous driver too been learing since 2020 but keep failing 😢😢😢😢 i hope i will pass this time
can you do this on your actual test ?
Yes of course it’s best way. It keeps your focus on what’s happening
No you can't and because if this information I failed my practical!
It’s called running commentary all my pupils do it on there tests and never had a fail because of it
I hope that you’re saying the serious fault is from that Golf there, otherwise you might find another job mate
Rule of merging: the one ahead goes first. Sure, she didn't check the mirror, but she shouldn't have done anything different even she checked it.

You were lucky the road was quiet at that time of day it's a nightmare at that island at most times of day
Right side shouldn't try to squeeze her, that the other car driver fault. His lane was closing, not her... typical wolverhampton traffic crossroads....
That is Bilston rd, nothing wrong how she was driving, not her fault...
Unfortunately there are worse drivers than this lady. That's why you need to check mirrors. Unfortunate for her but I hope it'll help her in the future
The way he looked at the centre mirror when she entered the right lane from left at the roundabout about😂 and he gor confused about the second a Round about when giving instructions
Scary 😱
My driving test is in 7 days. These videos are a massive help. Thank you!!!
Thank you Sabrin for taking part in this YT mock test. First serious fault was a bad way to fail with hand break. She learnt from these mistakes which you told her in end in feedback. 9:13 she didn’t spot the sign on right side saying lane is closed. Sat nav driving was good for her. She knew early where to go. i feel as this is why many learners prefer this. Her driving wasn’t bad for most parts, perhaps she was nervous because she was on camera. Thank you for this video.
Well done Sabrin.😮 Mock tests are free, perhaps sometime i should contact you about one my friend.😅 i will try not to be too shy to ask, haha :)
he did check his right shoulder before moving
Hi thanks for the video. I noticed that you didn't put it into park or use the hand break when stationary. I was wondering if this is necessary when using automatic?
Hi no it’s not
Hi thanks for the quick response. That's great I was worried about holding the break for too long

Did his cousin pass his International license test for him?
Signaled too early before spotting a safe place to park.
Doesn't prepare before observing and doesn't do final right blind spot check
Didn't secure the car
Look like the last person who done it hit the cone R.I.P cone 😂😢😂
At 8:49, there's a 'keep clear' on the road at the giveway line. Who is this for and can we stop at the give way line over the keep clear?
If you stop at the give way line you clear the keep clear
Spiral roundabouts as I reckon are magical if markings visible. Else a nightmare.
Hadbreak
Sir how can i contact you for moc test?
Very nice sir
Waiting when the green light is on
Clearence .. too close to the parked cars .. twice Things on camera look twice as far so i can't really judge how far away he stooped at the temporary lights . But he had already failed anyway
Being that bad in an automatic is a liability on the road alongside you dont start crying while driving - are you asking to crash? What are you, five?
