Thanks for your question I must do a video on this. So if you extend 1/2 an inch you make the shaft more flexible and the swing weight or head weigh will become heavier. Ideally you would want to add 1 inch to the butt then remove 1/2 an inch from the tip end. Then remove weight from the head to make swing weight the same as before you did the length increase. Must note it’s unusual to extend a driver 1/2 an inch nearly any fitting I do I reduce it 1/2 an inch which will help dispersion and almost never loose the player any distance. Hope this helps. Neil

You can do this to replace the bearings but as I was saying I have not had much luck in making a difference mostly in the motor. When they do noisy best a new complete unit you can try a full motor and gearbox rebuild and see how you go replace all the bearings and lithium grease see if you have some success worn parts are worn parts tho crown wheel and communicator etc cheaper to order a new complete unit. Thanks Neil. I have a spare unit available I'll swop it out over winter and be ready for the next season.

To the best of my knowledge it’s lithium grease and lifetime no need to change or top up. If you pot oil in the seal won’t hold it and will run out. It’s also a nylon drive so should be self lubricanting. Noise is more likely from the bearings I have never had success if replacing them 2 in the gearbox and 2 in the motor. Good luck.

@@tourfitgolf If the bearings are pressed into aluminium there's an easy way to get them out as long as you can get the aluminium casting into an oven. Heat the casting up and it expands way more than the steel bearing which will come out easily or even drop out. Same for fitting new bearings - when the aluminium is hot, they'll go in easily and tighten up once it cools.

Hi Ted, I would have complete motors and gearboxes in stock 400 watt 800 watt and 1000 watt it would be hard to just get a motor as the mounting points are all different. And very few would want to just sell a motor as it’s more likely the motor will fail before the beatbox. If you want to email or WhatsApp me some images I can take a look. Neil

@@tourfitgolf Amazon double ouch, my logic was three grips with tape Vs three grips without, then have to buy roll tape never use, so balances out, tip for users don't buy clean spirit it's hopeless real deal white spirit your friend

You have to use white spirit yes as it has an oil in it makes it easier to slide on. Don’t hang about tho.

Well followed the video, bought proper white spirits and these grips popped on a sand wedge and a driver easy😅 feel great in the hand, very pleased saved few bob too, gonna take on all my clubs next season.

I think you mean a 220 volt mains lead. Yes you should be able to connect it if the lead connection is the same as it’s the same as using an adaptor you are just replacing the adapter and UK plug for a European lead. Neil

So you can hammer them in if tight fitting or clue using shaft epoxy or araldite epoxy. If loose you can paper tape and then epoxy. Neil

Morning if the motors spinning with no drive it’s either the gearbox has gone or the gearbox shaft drive pins missing if someone has had the wheels off and not installed them again after. Look for the axle turning or not will determine. Neil

Perfect try if you can and get the correct size key way for it as it’s hardened steel they are a common size if you measure the length. Height and width you will find keyways online. Neil

The EBS models do not have clutch as they need to break so have a differential gearbox to turn. It could be the wheels or plastic housing breaking start by borrowing wheels and a small amount of grease on the surfaces or the under tray. Failing this you might need to change the axle bearing blocks they can click as well. Neil

The wheel themselves can crack. The plastic housing is the cover underneath the trolley protecting the motor and electric parts. Housing can creak and crack when dry. Plastic on plastic sort of idea.

It really sounds like gearbox but you have said you replaced it are you sure it’s not been replaced by another faulty one?

OK I will try and do this video it’s not normally a success as you really need to do it in factory but I’ll strip and re-build one to show the process. Neil

@@tourfitgolf Hi Neil Thanks for showing me how to dismantle the motor ( not the same motor but near enough) It’s not the bearings that are damaged , but one of the magnets, has split in two and the other one has come slack. Morning if you can share any info on the battery would be helpful. If it’s a click in battery with 3 pins it’s very likely to be the li-Ion charger 16.8 volt upper limit. Please share more details if you have them.

Can you use a lead acid battery instead of the originally supplied lithium battery if you get the correct adapters

Yes indeed it will keep it a size close to the graphite and keep constant pressure as soon as there is enough heat it will start to press off the head.. once off Ideally if you can get the tip of the shaft into some cold water after to cool it back off. Cheers.

Hi yes this is always possible are you following the saving protocal where you make the change then remove the battery to save.... At least I believe this is the same as the Sport range, try that and if no change I will ask PK tomorrow for you as they are currently closed.

Hi if you spray the axle with WD40 type spray leave overnight then wedge between clutch and frame a large flat screwdriver adding pressure and hit end of axle should release maybe get a second pair of hands. If this fails you will need to get a grinder with cutting disk and cut clutch both sides and split it off the axle. Thanks
