Workers & Resources · Meat
Our hard-working citizens absolutely love their daily intake of crispy animal protein. So it's time to figure out to start disassembling cows to satisfy that desire. Preferably by the hundreds.

Deja vu! Oh wowie am I glad to be back here. Got reminded of the game after discovering Tlatoani.
And now I've discovered Tlaloani! 😁 Welcome back!
Bro built Greeley Colorado in the USSR
Looked it up, not regretting! 😁
please for your next vid talk about making your construction industry self sufficient. how you need boards, gravel, concrete, asphalt, prefabs, bricks, and all of the local and national infrastructure to make it all work just so you don't have to take massive loans to buy all of that material. it is by far the bread and butter of what makes this game such a unique city builder and the satisfaction of making a whole new district/town with its accompanying industry.
It's not going to happen in the next video, but it's definitely a topic to be discussed. I'm finding the problem with importing construction materials is more of a logistical one, rather than financial. As you build deeper into the map, the supply lines and construction times get longer, and the customs points can only handle so much traffic, even with mods. So yeah, construction industries will happen :)
CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!!!!!
I'm leaving a comment so the algorithm recommends this to more people
Damn this is some good content. I hope more people find your channel
Those view numbers are a disrespect for the quality of the video!
magnificent engineering projects here
Meat?! In my communist utopia?!
Askhyally, post-Soviet countries only recovered to their 1980's levels of meat consumption in the last 5-10 years, and most of the currently successful meat production facilities (especially chicken) date back to late 1960's and 1970's when there was a huge investment push for that. :)
At At last!!!! Another video
Here to help the algorithm.
making a combine that big is kinda insane, and it being actually profitable is even more. great success!! i still wonder how many fields and farms would be needed to feed that monstrosity.
I don't even expect the Arab Map to be able to fully support all this industry with its own crops at this point! But farm/fertiliser yields and the number of fields you need to feed this or that factory is definitely worth looking into!
I think a good next pair of industries would be clothes + small chems! It's a logistical nightmare, but one small chem factory (or a small battery of them) can be supplied by forklifts without any issue, and have their product moved to the warehouse connected to 1-2 fabric + 2-4 clothing factories. Building it nearby an oil deposit would be best, but everything can be handled by trucks (except for crops, arguably). Chemicals are a big expense, too, and having excess chems opens up other industries (such as waste processing).
Combining forklifts and batteries of small chemical plants is definitely a great idea! I might try it, but I feel that huge chemical factory might be a bit too sexy 😅
This is a high quality video; informative and entertaining
Another highlight in the galaxy of entertainment that is your channel.
Great video. Thanks
Love the disciples 2 and Heroes of might and magic 3 references, making the soviet game review with the play every eastern home have.
There will be no end to those references!
FIRST COMMENT! I love your vids
Bravo
For clothes factory you really need a fabric factory too.
Your comments on traps illustrated a problem with a lot of D&D games. Traps are always just...there. In my imagination, dealing with traps is a careful process with lots of mechanical elements to figure out, like a little mini-puzzle. In video games, and even in bog-standard tabletop D&D, traps are usually just "detect then disarm" with nothing else involved. I think the 3d Fallout games are one of the few examples where you actually have to keep an eye out for traps in a realistic way i.e. looking for tripwires and pressure plates naturally.
Great point! I wouldn't say 3D Fallouts did it 'perfectly', but dealing with traps is definitely a far more meaningful thing to do in them than in Infinity games (or 2D Fallouts), because it kind of introduces a personal, non-abstract skill element that you learn.
One thing I preferred about BG1 over BG2, apart from the aesthetics, was the huge range of available characters. As you point out, the characters are more shallow and simple, but I think the wider variety means the player can pick who they want freely and let their imagination do the rest. In BG2 if you want to play a good character your options are fairly limited based on party composition (I would never voluntarily associate with Aerie otherwise). In BG1 you actually feel like you have enough options to make your own decisions. Jagged Alliance, as you point out, has a similar range, which is something I liked about that game too.
Aerie is an absolute monster if you keep her for battles, btw (a must for an all-mage party)! :) I believe that BG2's approach is superior still, but I see what you mean - the biggest problem for BG1 being that the player is prevented access to a lot of the characters (sometimes with really good banter and quests like Eldoth) until very late in the game. In JA, say, it's far easier to put together any kind of wacky team you like.
I love the transition cards and editing in general. Delightful to watch
i have no idea what the hell your actually saying but i love the editing bro!
High-quality content.
incredible planning comrade, women of the republic rejoice at this commitment
GThis may be old, but it's incredibly helpful for my pea-brained tactical and strategic mind. So tank you. Tank you very much.
Damn, this *is* old 😅

arab soviet chairman: hazard waste! my beloved. but what is this hazard waste plant you speak of? chemicals? comrade! hazard waste yearns to come back to the planet, that's why we import it so it can become one with the motherland skies.
great and funny video, really enjoyed it!
Awesome! How have I not found a entertaining tutorial like this before?
And now there's going to be more like this!
Your honour, if you are what you eat, my client is an innocent man
Really well made video. My people no longer eat meat, but radios
4:23 Not great, not terrible.
Still sad about the clothes. There such neet factories to set up.
They deserve another look, just not as the best first industry pick! :)
Just love that "welcome to ARABIC MAP"
+1 wildly underrated. Keep up the awesome work, p.s. loved the nod to myth soulblighter 😂
I hereby solemnly promise to make a retrospective video on Myth! That game is way too much fun
Very underrated content

Welcome back! I love W&R:SR. Keep it up, you have better videos (and they're far more fun and interesting) than several 1 million + subscriber channels I know 👌👌

nice
simple yet effective. Thanks!
Usually don't bother myself with this, but commenting for the algoritm. You deserve much more spotlight. Great video. Subscribed
Hey, really appreciate it, cheers! :) Just finished the voice-over for another turn-of-the-century classic, so you probably won't regret staying around!
If you feel REEEEEALLY adventurous you could also do Cosmonaut mode, where you can't autobuild for cash anymore and have to physically make every building, pylon, footpath and road on your own
That's the best way to play the game, absolutely! :) (My latest video is specifically done for realistic, with another coming in about a week!)
Great video thanks
Well, you followed me on twitter and here i am to give you a sub, a view and a like - and a comment
Cheers! 😁
Oh man the Realistic mode on this game adds more depth and excitement to a city. It’s tougher but allows better budget control from the get go. When you start out play the harder settings for the increased depth but always take easy money when you’re learning. You’ll spend 8 mil roubles so fast, especially if you pay for buildings
Absolutely!
How is the campaign in this game? I must admit I'm overall not too interested in Workers & Resources but I'm always on the lookout for good city builder campaigns.
No clue right now 😅 I am suspecting it's a bit tacked on (it didn't exist at all 2 years ago), but will eventually look into it. W&R definitely is like Cities: Skylines in terms of how sandboxy it is. Not ruling out that the campaign might have some worth to it.
the campaigns are huge tutorials. they're, umm. okay?. i did like the second campaign it gets into rather advanced industries.
Can we get more guides? I started workers and resources recently and found out that (unlike UoC2 because of you) W&R lack good guides, and it really needs it, because realistic is the only way to play
Yes! There are plans for more!
welcome back
Oh come on, it's been a very brief seven months 😁
