Heard's performance might have been one of the best in film history. And just two years before this film was released in 1981, Heard played a totally opposite character in Chilly Scenes of Winter.

Just saw this last night. This is a powerful, amazing scene and the soundtrack takes it to the next level. The only scene in cinema imho that captures the carnal joy and abject horror of what vampirism means. Thank you for posting it.

It sounds like the rhythm track, consisting of a drum machine programmed beat, the bass guitar, and rhythm guitar were recorded straight to cassette. The vocals must have been overdubbed since they sound cleaner. A pretty unique production technique which gives the track a distinct feel and vibe.
