Yes your observation about doughnuts is right . We Indians find American chocolates too Sweet ie the ones available in the US . Try any chocolate in India its less sweet (kitkat ) .

You guys should totally check out chikamagalur, which is 6 hours from Bangalore. The kemmanagundi Z point trek, and Hebbe falls is something that should not be missed. I had a wonderful stay at "Aakriti Homestay" which was a super peaceful resort

This is the primary benefit you can get from India. trust me.. Maybe if they don't get a saucer cup in life, they just get a cup of tea without a handle. But if you want to survive even if you are thirsty and tired, they will have the ability to depend on it.
