Secondo il mio modestissimo e discutibilissimo parere,nella versione eseguita al South Atlantic Jazz Festival,c'è molto più groove,e molto più equilbrio.Naturalmente anche questa è fantastica,parlo solo di percezioni uditive e parere personale :)

I was at this event and the sound was horrid, you couldn't hear Gino's voice, why would I go to a Gino event and not want to hear his beautiful voice, all you got was bass and drums and bit's of this and that all mashed together into a big blob as you can hear on this video. I was so pissed at the sound crew because they were right there listening to the same thing and they weren’t changing anything. Sorry Gino but you should have fired the sound crew for doing that to you...

Nice move to the Sub Dominant for the solos. Great Kicks. Next to the studio mix in Portland, the guys are a bit "On It" . Live Energy, or lots of morning "rockstar" or other . . . Joe is gone, and so is the musical influence. However, I dig the musical approach as much to the Re Man's or maybe at times even MORE ( with the exception of Reinhardt's work on " I Just Wanna Stop" ) Gino missed it their. Too Hard for the tune. Sorry my German Bud.

One of my fave oldy tunes from the JLF!! Cool he dusted it off. What a prodigy Danny Wilson was too. Hard to duplicate the incredibly rhythmic and tight bass grooves he wove - esp this tune (I believe recorded 31 years ago actually...unreal!). Really wish I could have heard more from him than just the 3 LPs he was on with Jeff.
