As beginner: I will use same procedure as in Video, but how much should I Drink to avoid a strong trip?
It can really vary.I have found some cactuses to be far stronger than others. But if you start with about one measuring cup, you should be okay. A rule I have heard is that 1 foot of cactus is one dose. But I think this is pretty loose as they vary in fitness and strength. One whole foot of most cactus would probably be a fairly strong dose.

Good question man worth a try. I'm guessing boiling it breaks it down so the body can uptake the good shit better, but that's based on zero knowledge of such thing.
The skin of the cactus tend to expand inside your stomach, boiling it is just to extract all the alkaloids into a more digestable liquid. You can just drink the blended cactus but you will feel to sick and gonna throw up, before the mescaline get asimilated by your body.
Its so you can filter out the plant material
In most videos people blend it before boiling. Is it better to boil before blend? Have you tried both ways? Thanks

Its not tidley winks people, you either wanna trip or ya dont. Personally i think bad trips are good for you but i have never had one off san pedro. Hi there. A general rule is a foot (300mm) per person but i find the strength varys between cacti.

Ive got to be honest, it isn't the visual ls which appeal to me most about psychedelics. its that incredible feeling of love that they give us, as though God himself has wrapped his arms right around us and hugged us tightly... The same empath hit that MDMA gives... THATS what I look for in psychedelics, and I'm told San Pedro mescaline is the next best thing to a pure MDMA hit.

Honestly u can use everything except the middle woody fibrous part, dont hassel the wax skin or the white meat or thorns, it will be strained, the naseua does not come from any of these
yeah, but that's like saying you might as well sup potato wine if you enjoy beer. yes, thwyre both alcohol, but the difference in strength and effects are vast. The core is useable, but thousands of years of experience have taught us the best bits are the subdermal greenery.
@@NiSiochainGanSaoirse yeah but if the nasea comes from the center firbrous part and everything else gets strained why spend all the extra work peeling off every thorn or de skinning it (which can take forever) when it doesnt matter one bit, you can send 4 hours prepping but my way take 10 minutes and then your already brewing

To avoid nausea add lemon to the cook... Cooks all with lemon and take away the foam.
For how long does it last? Once it's cooked and filled up in jars. Can you store in the fridge to extent the shelf-life?

I would freeze it if you want to keep it for a while but ive drunk it after a few weeks and it was fine.

I dont really know.I'd have a guess and say a couple of weeks. Maybe freeze it if you dont plan on drinking it straight away.

I just saw a video of people preparing Huachuma in Peru, and they did some things a little differently that they say help with the nausea. First, they only use the skin, not the white inner part of the cactus. They say the white part will cause nausea, and the mescaline is in the skin. They also cooked it with lemon to reduce the nausea. They cooked the slices for hours and then strained and set aside that water; cooked the slices for hours again, and then strained the water; then combined the water from both, and cooked it down until only half that total liquid remained. ua-cam.com/video/5JdrkSbu3jc/v-deo.html

I guess it depends where you live. I'm in New Zealand, prob one of the most far removed places in the world and i manage to find it so i would think where ever you are your chances are probably good. Look up some pics of San Pedro Cactus and then just keep an eye out

Yeah you can eat it raw. Its the bright green beneath the skin that has the goodness in it. It will be pretty bitter and i would aim to eat a fair bit for an effect. It may make you feel a bit sick too but no pain no gain haha good luck!!
I’d suggest finding info on traditional huachuma preparation and how to properly consume it. There are traditional ways to go about this, based on probably 100s or 1000s of years of experience. Maybe we could perfect it with modern resources, but start with what is tried and true. There are ways to minimize nausea. And eating it raw may or may not be advisable, considering how (I believe) traditional wisdom says to only use the cactus skin, and that it should be thoroughly cooked (simmered) for hours, with lemon included in it.

Nah nah blend it in the water , strain it and drink the water that strains out. Pretty sure if you have the solids it'll give ya the shits. To much fiber.
You blend it all together, strain out the solids and throw away and drink the liquid. You do need to boil for a while prob 3 hours minimum.
I noticed you boiled once . So simple. Every other video they boil like ten times or for hours
