This is bullshit. some D-ass connect there pi to interne with out changening anything thats there problem. who give a 3 year old unlimted internet access anyway. now i need to install another f program just so i can run my pi. F that am rerolling the old image and upgrading it. this extra steep is a waist of my time and pissing on my freedom to set shit up. video is good do. thanx for the info,

isnt there a way to do this after the pi is setup? I have been going crazy trying to figure this out and I REALLY dont want to have to reflash the entire thing AGAIN just to change an SSH password. I have not found anything on how to successfully get SSH to work if you get this error after changing the password through the OS. I keep getting permission denied

Thanks, I have been trying to ssh for a while. I didn't realize ssh @pi was actually ssh @username until you pointed that out.

Not sure it is working if you are using not the official os but ubuntu from this loader. At least it is not connecting SSH but loads the standard ubuntu set up on screen

Mine doesn't let me set ssh password

1. The default password no longer exists as of April 2022, one must be configured in the imager now. 2. local domains are easy, but bad practice for a tutorial. You should explain how to use nmap to find the pi on the network, or the routers admin panel. Not everyone has the needed program to resolve (Avahi IIRC) local hostnames, thus IP being more reliable.

I don't know why when i tap this command 'ssh pi@raspberrypi' i get this error: ssh: Could not resolve hostname raspberrypi: No such host is known, how i could know the hostname of my raspberry without accessing on desktop environment because i don't have monitor

I want to run ROS on the Raspberry pi, is it possible to install all what i need in the Raspberry Pi using SSH from VM machines ? the rapsberry Pi can't use wifi or ethernet port to go to the internet because I tried to connect it to the internet from school network and I think that you can only have access to the internet with registered student profiles (password is different all the time), so not possible for Raspberry Pi. please help thanks

Ok with that NO one knows a thing about what I'm struggling with Py files don't create themselves. VM don't create themselves,. My sensors hidden files don't create themselves. Wlan0 don't create it's self( or does it). Lenox is showing up on my fiber optic Wi-Fi and I have android, windows,and apple. Where do I find this gadget? Where to look..I know there's one. Great video on Latest Rasp Pi setup method! I’ve been attempting to setup my RP 3+ wirelessly exactly as instructed over the past 2 weeks, using different network and password combos, without getting SSH access via the terminal CMD! Have been on phone with my internet service provider for hours several times, with 0 results! RPI ‘Octopi’ never appears on accessible device list on network! Using CANA wifi fob in RPi on all usb slots and testing same slots with wireless mouse confirms connectivity! Anyone else having similar issues?
