I do all my HST's the same way. I super glued a porcelain drawer pull to the center of my 6" square ruler which makes flipping to make the opposite cuts very easy. This allows one handed operation of the ruler.

Cute quilt! What sewing machine are you using? I will usually put my blocks up, then I stand back and look at it. Then I will move blocks again. 😆 Then it stays on my design wall for 1 or 2 days, in which I will continue to move blocks. I love your quilting. I never knew Babylock made longarm machines.

I love both of the quilts! For me and binding vs borders, It just depends on the quilt and the size of it. Usually it's just a binding on mine. Thanks for the tips on working with bias on these triangles!

LOL 😂 My sister has so many sewing machines that I can't really get attached to a single machine. They are all so neat! The one I'm using next week is a hand crank Sinnger from the 1950s. She has a century of machines, from an old family 1890s vibrating shuttle machine, through the 20s, a featherweight , a "Rocketeer" circa 1960, and several others, up to a modern Phaff with an attached walking foot.

I love them both but I love borders, especially black ones. It just brings makes the colors brilliant. Thanks for a great video!!
