hi!! one good tip for your roads and highways traffic, you have to do lane mathematics, as: if a one lane road is merging into a two lane road, on the next segment you must update it to a three lane road, so the cars that are entering the road won't stop the traffic that is already flowing. This will help your traffic A LOT. There are good videos about lane mathematics by Biffa Plays Indie Games :)

How annoying is it to have that "waiting for a hearse" icon sitting there all the time? I have two of those on one of my cities and they won't go away. There's road access, the locations exist within a district that is serviced by multiple cemeteries and cremation facilities with available hearses and the icons still don't go away.

I never use the money tree, because as glitchy as it is, it does make it too easy at some point, and my game is boring because there is no longer any challenge.

The inconsistency of the birthmarks between ages of kids is infuriating. I do have birthmarks myself and I know that they don't move and they are present at birth, we don't "age into them", like the game allows. The should not change as Sims age up.

Not twins AGAIN!?

Baby showers USED to traditionally be for women only, but that has changed in the past 30 years and now (at least here in the USA) they become "gender reveal" parties where men can come too. My moms baby shower was supposed to be for women only (decades ago) but my dad had to go instead.... Why you ask? My mom had given birth about 40 minutes earlier.

I dislike it when parents "matchy-matchy" thier twins. They are individual people and do not need to grow up thinking they need to be or are joined at the hip.. This is a game, so I don't care, but in real life, no, that's sooooo wrong in my opinion.

Strict doesn't always equate to "mean"... In many households it is the same thing, especially abusive ones, but caregivers, teachers etc can be strict without being mean.

In reality, I don't think order of scenes matters, like the scientist career order doesn't matter. They can do them out of order and fix it in editing... Like parts of the StarWars movies were filmed in DeathValley which is in the Mojave desert. I think they did all of the scenes for that movie at one time, even if dome were at the beginning of the movie and some at the end. I seriously doubt they filmed the whole movie in order.

Actually, calico, and tortishell variations of cat are actually mostly female. The gene that covers the tri-colors is attached to the double X chromosome eo it is rare for a male to be a calico in real life.

The MCCC mod often takes a couple of days to update, the bigger the pack, the longer it takes sometimes. Up to a week, so you have to read the notes, it will usually say that it has been updated for certain packs, and the dates of other updates. I do not use mods because of all of that but my BF uses them, but never plays until MCCC has updated. Quick fixes are usually fixed in 24 hours, others have taken a week for larger packs.

Since infants can sleep in the playmats, cribs are basically a glitchy waste of time. The reason sim parents want to put the kids down in the playmats all the time is because they can gain milestones autonomously and they can't do that in cribs.

Yeah, the Archaeology table takes awhile, but it can be worth it.

I color code my sims as well. It helps me tell who I am looking at when I am flipping around in large families.

Yes, the fertility thing with Frahkie probably did trigger twins. Gender etc isn't determined until labor. I do alot of 100 baby challenges and my sim can get pregnant with only one open space, age up a teen that leaves and then mom has twins even though there was only room for one when she got pregnant. The only thing that messes with that is when you ask MCC, that is a mod that will anchor gender etc at that point instead of at labor because you want to know. As a test, you can save a sim before labor, play through and see what they have, quit without saving, you might end up with something different (without mods) than the first time. She is supposed to have 5 kids? With that perk on Frankie, they could end up with 6.

Definitely wierd and cheaty for a young adult to be good at everything..

Hint: restart a couple of times until you get a good berry or deer spot, better deer then berries. next one: don't go for farming too soon. and keep people somewhat happy, food, firewood and a well will do to get some people into your village quickly. also: the further away from the market the worse supply with goods will be for your villagers. have fun!

Lovely build!! Love how the tech area has developed. As far as your bus terminal you may have to re jig it. What I love about your builds is you don't do gridded roads but in that area you have to many junctions intersecting, causing the bottleneck. You may have to clean it up and do a traditional cross intersection and move roads. But what I think you should try is change the roads where the buses come in and out to one way transit only lanes and funnel the buses out farther away from that intersection and come out in a different area.
