I can resonate with this a lot. I romanced Shadowheart in the game, and there are so many different little lovely details about it. There is one particular kiss animation when the way Shadowheart looks at the Avatar is just so loving, I could feel it. What an amazing accomplishment, this game :)

Haven't gotten to Act 2 yet, but I literally had to leave Gale back at camp when we first went to the Grove because of all his approvals with my Tav. It's super easy to get him to exceptional approval long before the others are even at high approval. Even though I kept him back at camp most of the time and kept Astarion and Wyll in my group most of the time, I *still* got high approval from Gale. I'm playing a mostly good Tav. Gotta love neutral dialogue options. I didn't talk much to the three girls, but Lae'zel got to high approval fairly quick also. I had to turn her down.
