A jade is simply a stone until it is cut, refined and perfected into a gem worthy to be treasured and viewed as of symbol of immortality in the Asian culture. I strive to make knives to be remembered forever... Jaded knives.
How to Replace the Antenna for a (2004-2009) Lexus RX350, RX330, RX400H
I apologize for the video quality. I had the Gopro settings (shutter speed) too low and the video rendered overexposed.
Side note: From mine and others experience, aftermarket antennas such as the shark fin do not have better reception than the factory.
Hope this was helpful.

How to Straighten a Leaning Brick Mailbox
Переглядів 21 тис.4 роки тому
Hope this video helps those trying to straighten their brick mailbox. I should preface this video with my location and overall situation. I am located in Houston, Texas.... which is known for foundation issues due to soil and clay composition. This is why I needed to use and compact quite a bit of rocks underneath before I found some "solid ground" under the soil. YMMV I could have left the bot...
Custom Vintage Schrade Deerslayer
Переглядів 2,5 тис.8 років тому
My fathers favorite knife was lost in a kitchen drawer for 2 decades. It was the knife that carved the turkey for Thanksgiving throughout my childhood. I couldn't resist restoring this 80's Deerslayer. Iron sharpens iron, as one man sharpens another.
Custom Spyderco Civilian
Переглядів 2,4 тис.8 років тому
Just finished customizing a Spyderco Civilian for my brother in law. C-Tek, filework, jimping and an Emerson wave mod. Let me know what you think! *correction: C-Tek is made of epoxy resin, not acrylic. Durable stuff. Like, comment and subscribe... all that good stuff.
I wish Jimi was my dad.
Instead of concrete, do you think i can just add rocks then top soil?
No that won't work rocks will eventually give way again. Concrete footings are the only way to do it.
Chucky',s mum
leave the jack and cement around it?
The secret of shopping, the wights, of the chopper, welly jeep molye world war 2
Great job. I have the same problem. I am going to basically the same thing to fix mine. 👍👍 How has the contract handled up? It looked like the contract was a bit too dry. Is it holding up OK?
Thanks! The concrete has held up well... it's still as straight as it can be. You are correct, I realized (after the fact) that I could have used more water. Thank you for your service.
Thanks for sharing Do you have a link to purchase the antenna kit? Thanks
Thank you for sharing - we have exactly the same issue with our brick letterbox. Everything else I have seen involves pumping foam through holes in the slab - which is not accessable in these letterboxes 🙂
Thank you. I just purchased one and the antenna was completely broken off. Have you happened to install Bluetooth in her car? If so what kit did you use?
Very Welcome. I'm using an FM transmitter Bluetooth. They all work quite similarly, so I'd simply find one with high reviews. The one in this vehicle has been discontinued. A great option, but may cost a couple of hundred more, is an android stereo.
Fantastic video! Thank you for doing this. Did you end up using two or three of those 60 lb bags?
I am pretty certain I used 2.5 bags. Glad it was helpful!
AAAAAAAAAAAAMERICAAAAAA FUCK YEAH
Thanks for the video. Very helpful.
Glad it helped!
He's no James, but he could be a force if he refines his technique
Can somebody put this video to "what I've done" by linkin park?
This is not TikTok

How to get qualified for bladesports? 1) Having a big belly 2) Shows signs of anger issues
3. Have the spirit of a hoss
Kinda feelin some second hand embarrassment after watching the lady 🤣🤦♂️ yikes. She was too low-energy. Not that all women are incapable at this but she sucked lol
31:00 She can chop. Holy cow. See those water bottles? And she got through each 2x faster than the men
Each? Don’t exaggerate to simp
I bet my frost cutlery would dominate this event.. Lol jk
Everyone tried chopping through the knots in their boards lol
Texas hat woman has never seen a knife before
I’d like to see oj Simpson run this course
😅
Are you allowed to have different grindsd of different sections of the blade. E.g. 22degrees on the 4inches neat the end of the blade and say 17 degrees toward the ricasso?
That is a great question. According to Jimislash, "You could, but I don't see the purpose. You could have different grinds for the blade, but I haven't heard about the edge."
1st onlooker with custom knife envy watching the guy at 28:05 - geez, this guy's a total hack 2nd onlooker with custom knife envy - whaddya talkin' 'bout . . . he's definitely a cut above 1st onlooker - nah, the guy that went second's got the edge on him 2nd onlooker - making a comparison like that is really cutting it close 1st onlooker - there's no 2 ways to slice it 2nd onlooker watching the lady at 29:58 - there'd never a dull moment at one of *_HER_* parties 1st onlooker - yup . . . you'd better keep yer eyes open and stay sharp the whole time 2nd onlooker - and after all that, you'd think the award ceremony woulda been a little more exciting . . . insteada so dull 🔪 🤣
Lol, Great stuff!
Yo knife chopping competition is awesome
You can also use your truck bumper to push level it with someone watching it and with a blanket in between it, much easier then dig
Pushing or pulling would definitely be easier if the mailbox was reinforced or strong enough. You would still need to contend to the foundation to level it with digging and filling, though. I may have mentioned from another comment that this is the second build. The first mailbox was built solid with a bit of rebar, concrete and cinderblocks... bc, why not. An unfortunate had an epileptic seizure and accidentally hit my mailbox (at low speeds) and almost died. The mailbox shifted, but did not break, totaling the car and sending the driver to Life flight and hospitalized in ICU for a while. We chose to make the latest mailbox hollow and less impact resistant. Even though, it would be the driver's fault for hitting my mailbox, I wouldn't want to revisit that incident again, knowing I could have changed the outcome. I did think about creating a exoskeleton of wood to pull the mailbox, but ultimately thought this video's method to be safest. Your option would be easier. Thanks for the input!
@@CitizenK9I’m thinking about making some sort of wood exoskeleton to use to pull it with a tow strap, then use some brick on the low side to make sure it doesn’t settle back that way.
The looks on the kids faces are very funny. Some are memorized "like coooool" others have a look of "WTF am I watching" flinching and wincing with every swing of the knife lol
What is the brand of the knife
They all use custom knives that fit the rules. One of the competitors is a UA-camr named Jimislash. He is sponsored by Coldsteel. He may be the only one that has created a mass produced knife for competition. www.coldsteel.com/jimi-slash-competition-chopper/
You made it to pretty to use. 🤔
It was used a lot outdoors when my father had it decades ago. When I was a child, I had fond memories of my father using it to cut the turkey for Thanksgiving Day. I remade it so that it can be used again, pretty enough, for special holidays. I can always buy a new Deerslayer to punish for under $30 if I needed to. This one is now an heirloom.
Great job! It took me a while to realize how you were using the jack from the video, so I read your words more carefully. Great idea to use the jack to keep forcing rocks down deep into the mud until it eventually formed a stable base.
Thank you for the comment! I'm glad that this video was helpful!
Wow, this sport requires a strong body, a strong and sharp knife, and endurance. It is way harder than it looks.
lmfao this shit is easy. its a ton of out of shape people doing this shit acting liek its hard. SHEEEESH YOU KIDDIN?
Handsome! nice to watch! I am from Russia and we are at the very beginning of the path of knife culture! Thank you for showing your competitions and we take an example from you! Once again Thank you very much! I'll try to save up for materials and make a knife like your best athletes.
The overall length of the knife cannot exceed 15 inches (38.1 centimeters). The blade cannot exceed 10 inches (25.4 centimeters) in length or 2 inches (5.08 centimeters) in width. The handle cannot exceed 5 inches (12.7 centimeters) in length. _For safety:_ The handle must have at least one visible pin and one secure lanyard hole, with a sturdy wrist lanyard being used at all times.
This vido is so helpful going to fix my this week have being looking for this
Glad it helped!
gorgeous
Knife Athlete
Nice work, I have to do this exact thing!
Thanks! Share your before n after results if possible. Cheers!
What happened with the first guy?
Unfortunately, his lanyard broke. I believe they call it an Osborne safety lanyard. It wraps around the wrist in case the competitor loses their grip.
Japan has had its blade time….
Some pirate in the 1700 would really like that knive
I would really be interested to know what kind of knife he use for this
Almost all of these knives are custom and use very hard, but hardy steel. Typically no distal taper so they have a front ward balance, better for chopping. Flat or slight curve for edge alignment. Convex edge for strength and edge retention.
We're lucky he's not a murderer
This looks realy fun i will try to start a circuit of this sport in uruguay
That sounds awesome! Good luck to you!

Nice video and excellent do-it-yourself work. You're an inspiration to tackle the project.
Thank you! Comments like yours make it all worth it. 👍👍
My brick mailbox is leaning the exact way. Thanks so much for posting this step by step video on how to repair it, I really appreciate it!
I'm glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment.. Cheers!
Thank you. My antenna broke about 6 years ago and the repair man wanted about $500 to repair. Everyone said its a big job to fix! I suffered poor reception for all these years. After watching your youtube video I purchased an antenna kit on Amazon and just finished installing. It took about twenty minutes. Thanks again.
I'm glad this video was helpful! Thanks for letting me know. 🙏
I have to go this for my parents. My only question is, once I dig under the lowest corner to fit the jack and start jacking up the pillar, isn't the jack going to sink? What can I do to stop the jack from sinking once I start jacking up the pillar to straighten it?
at 01:30 , I simply kept adding rocks to the hole my jack created, resetting the height of the jack.. Eventually, the rocks created a pillar deep into the ground that supported the jack. Hope that helps and good luck!
Should have fixed the curb at the same time.
I don't have the experience, unfortunately. From a bit of research, it looked like I needed a mold to form the curb. I should put that on the list. Thanks for the input.
@@jadedworx2708 It's ok, but you had concrete mixed up already, was just a matter of cutting the broken curb out, and trialled it in. 👍😊
Beautiful work. I just think that its calling for a custom leather Sheath
Yes, I think I will have to get on that... gives it more of a classy feel. Thanks for the incite!
Jaded Worx very informative video ..I have a 4ft x 4ft. entrance column 6ft high with foundations going down about 4ft. These columns support wrought iron gates. One of the columns is leaning away 8" from the other column. I have looked a numerous videos as to how to straighten this column, but most of the videos show columns with accessible (less than 18""deep) foundations. Any suggestions as to how I can straighten this column, or do you have a video showing this sort of problem.
I should add, I live in Canada where we get -40C and lots of snow, as that might be relevant.
4ft deep! I guess going underneath is out of the question, lol. The only other option (plan b) was to brace/support the opposing side with metal or wooden beams and pull it straight with tow straps. There is always the risk of breaking the column. Perhaps, we can reduce the stress by digging and freeing up the surrounding of the column. Good luck!
Dude thanks for the video..have the same problem.
Very welcome! Cheers
