Why didn't u just build a whole new cabinet for the saw riser to fit into bro? U coulda used ply or osb and used steel framing to make it a solid cabinet. I love the table top but that much weight will defo or must have a effect on the plastic in the longterm, no? I see u have slots between the steel plate? Is it possible to use them for a mitre gauge? I love how flat the saw table is now bro. Good job. I have an old table saw with the same issues. I will use some of ur ideas when I finally get round to rebuilding mine.

Where did you get the special drill bit?

well it's a lathe ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxN9zrzkkhnjUF5PQbuA_B1gYdsfCu9k6z but it wasn't what i would have anticipated. Headstock, tailstock, carriage apron are manufactured from aluminum now not cast iron. The spindle diameter for the bearings is too small allowing for a few play in the spindle so I am using some blue Loctite to take out the play.

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

Tremendo invento si señor jajaj estaba viendo el video y digo porque habrá puesto el tensor de la sierra debajo? No podrá cortar los tablones y luego ya lo cambiaste muy ingenioso el sistema te recomiendo poner el tensor en la parte de arriba para cortar más ancho de tabla me ha sorprendido mucho la transformación a carro para llevarlo por ahi si señor!
