Which creek are you fishing??

I don’t know how I missed this one last year, but great finish and great video! I hear they sprayed for grass so I’m not sure what we’ll find up there this year.

All I can say is....CONGRATS! I had the same feeling about 20 years ago at Salt fork spillway standing on the guardrail where the water comes through a culvert. I snagged my first muskie and was a "fish ohio" qualifier. I was more worried about him straightening my hook than cutting my line because I use spider wire braided line....(it's tuff as hell). Landing that fish is the best feeling ever! Keep up the great work!

I cast a Whopper Plopper off up at Lake Erie last time up there. It came back to the shore where we were fishing from and I was able to grab it. 15 minutes of picking out the overrun though. Nice fish there at the end!

I’ve lost 2 of the trace swimbaits. One getting hung up and the other forgetting it at a pond. I found it’s just to be happy they’re only $25 and not $100. I’m gonna buy more soon probably just because they’re such good lures.

Great video as always. I want to do the float from Franklin into Middletown but I can't figure out where to get out of the river at. Did you go all the way to the 122 bridge or get out somewhere around the route 4 bridge where you caught your last fish?

Is this before or after the repairs? I live in Lima it has been a few years since I have fished it. I know they did some work on the spillway, but I can't remember how long ago it was.

You should fish in Griggs reservoir. Great smallmouth and suageye area. Sometimes you might even hook a flathead 🎣

Friends of ours were camping in the 1000 islands region and one night they did not pull their kayaks all the way up to the shore by their campsite and they floated off to Canada and washed up to some guys island weirdest part he knew of the place where they were purchased in their hometown Oak Orchard canoe and kayak and called them they called our friends and they were able to get them back, one was a decked out fishing kayak gear and all
