Exploring reforms happening in Christianity, both in the STORY (our theology) and the SHAPE (our ecclesiology - the church). There are many things in the STORY and the SHAPE of modern Christianity that don't really line up too well with scripture. Fortunately, a lot of work has been done in recent times in an attempt to correct these. Unfortunately, a lot of this work is not very accessible to the average believer - it's locked up in seminary courses or books that many don't know about or don't have time to access. THE STORY AND THE SHAPE seeks to make these reforms more understandable and accessible to a wider audience among the people of God.
Are Dead Saints Watching Us?? The Cloud Of Witnesses In Hebrews 12:1
Hebrews 12:1 mentions "a great cloud of witnesses". Many people believe that this refers to the dead saints who have gone before us into heaven and who are cheering us on from the great beyond. But is this really the case? Who are these witnesses and what does it mean that they are "witnesses"?
