We stayed at Potters Resorts in Hopton on Seas for a 2 night all inclusive break during the world Bowls championships. We enjoyed all-inclusive food, drinks and entertainment. We even had the chance to try archery and air rifle shooting. We give a room tour and site tour along with a vlog of everything we do and eat.

How did your order food to your lodge? We went last year and wasn't sure how to do this we are going again this year would be handy to know
We received an email a few weeks before the stay with a pre-order menu for dinner and breakfast. We just had to email back with our choices by a certain date and the rest was taken care of for us

Booked for November, could you please tell me information on parking and leaving our car at the port in Newcastle untill we return? Sail Friday and return Sunday morning, excellent video thanks
Hi Chris! We found parking at the port very straightforward as everything is really well signposted on arrival. We parked in the Port of Tyne car park and it was only about a 1 minute walk over to the ferry. Parking is free for the first 4 hours and £12 per day afterwards. The car park seemed very secure and we felt safe leaving the car there. Once you return on Sunday morning, there is a booth at the terminal to pay before you leave (it is not possible to pay in advance). Here is the parking example from the Port of Tyne website which is the same as what we did: DFDS Amsterdam Mini Cruise Example: Day 1 - Arrive in car park at 3pm Day 2 - In Amsterdam Day 3 - Leave car park at 11 am Parking cost £24 (44 hours) Hope that is helpful! Have a great trip :)
Studio 17. Recognised it right away. Spookily, we spent a week here end of May beginning of June 2023 but did not bump into you. Been twice in 2023 and planning 3rd visit before end of year as it is so cheap (25 euros a night at it cheapest off season. Check out Loveholidays flying out of Prestwick). We spent time at the park with the Peacocks, Terrapins and Azure-winged Magpies. We also used the Continente to stock up on provisions despite the presence of Aldi and Lidl nearby. We are in our late sixties and early seventies but we found everything within walking distance: the riverside with its numerous storks nesting on cranes, chimneys and cathedrals, the aqua shopping centre with its excellent food court and the numerous beaches. Looking forwards to our next visit. (Strange you didn't mention the gypsy camp visible in one of your clips. They provided us with much entertainment during our stay) .
Yes, it was Studio 17!! We loved the apartments. They definitely have everything you could need for a great stay. We will make sure to check out Loveholidays for next time as we plan to return hopefully in the near future. hi there ..we are looking at going in November, do you mind me asking what date you went and how busy was it
We went mid November on a weekday outwith school holidays. It was definitely slightly busier than previous times we had visited, with queues for big attractions consistently hovering around 60-90 minutes for most of the day. We did feel it was worth it though to see the park done up for Christmas. Hope that helps🙂

Was that a standard bungalow or what bungalow did you have
We had the bungalow plus (the standard bungalow was sold out for our break). The bungalow plus works out as an additional £5 per person per night and is pretty similar to the standard bungalow. The only differences are the bungalow plus also includes the following - iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, and a drinks fridge/cooler
It so expensive. But i would love to go there. ❤
Yeah the price is the one thing that put us off going for a while 😭 If you sign up to their email newsletter then you can sometimes get a discount code which helps a little bit. We hope you get to go there soon ☺️

Do you need to pre book a table at the potion place?
There might be some walk up availability but it's probably best to book online in advance. It's possible to go there just for a drink but if you want to do one of the potion making experiences they will take place at allocated times throughout the week. Hope that helps!
