@@Lepomis.macrochirus noo bass will bite all sorts of lures! If you’re fishing a pond, buy yourself some 4 inch senkos and fish them around weightless. Eventually, you’ll see one grab your bait and swim off with it. Easiest, best way to fish sometimes👍 If you want to do topwater, get yourself a small whopper plopper and cast and reel it right back. Super easy, super fun.

@@Lepomis.macrochirus maybe the location of where you’re fishing is the issue. When bass are around in bigger numbers, you should definitely be getting a few

@@Lepomis.macrochirus a 3 inch senko would work perfect for them, even the big guys will bite them occasionally. Strike king makes one with a cut tail that I like, and it’s really durable

@@bobross3172 A few reasons. I’m sure it was delicious, but there is rules against keeping wild fish on the Sac river so I just avoid keeping any. Second, I generally don’t keep a trout that is bigger than 15 inches, unless it’s a hatchery fish. When trout get big, I like to see them swim away :)

@@tristen4010 I’ve tried in Redding and Anderson, and both are equally as good in my opinion. You can try by the sundial bridge which is good but that’s barbless hooks only

@@graceifishing In Cali, in anadromous rivers, rainbows with an intact adipose fin are supposed to be released. I'm guessing the $480 was his fine for keeping the fish.
