Lovric Family Adventures
Croatia
Приєднався 5 вер 2023
Hello viewers! Recently we picked up our three young children, packed our bags, and ten small boxes, and moved to the other side of the world to live in a small seaside town on the Adriatic Sea. No more cities for us!
Join our young family on our global adventures, both on water and on land! As a family we decided that we want to make sure we feel the world. What better way to do it, together, the five of us exploring culture, history, and what it means to truly see, hear, taste and understand. We hope you enjoy a little glimpse into our lives and get a taste of what this beautiful natural world and its people have to offer all of us.

WILD BOSNIA | The Bosnia & Herzegovina You Never Knew Existed!
🇧🇦 On this trip, we explore parts of Bosnia which most people forget to find. We will take you off any road you know, aiming for above the clouds high up into the mountains where you hear only silence, the wind, and footsteps of the local animals. Then we moved on, still off the beaten path on the next adventure to find the wild horses across the expansive and open beauty of some of the most breath-taking Bosnian plains. These animals are not only stunning with their raw untouched beauty, but they are the definition of survival, perseverance, community, and strength. Traits our young family strives to be like! This trip was about peace, life, and nature. Come and see the magic we got to experience.

Love the video but please change the title from New York to New Jersey.
Thank you! 😊 We chose New York for the title, thinking it would grab more attention, though we might have overestimated how much of New Jersey is actually part of the greater New York metropolitan area. We do understand they’re separate states! Now that you’ve mentioned it, it's probably time to rethink that choice 😀 By the way, are you originally from Susak?
Beautiful video

Fantastic video! I have been at all the places featuring in this video. My mother is Bosnian, father Slovenian, living in Phuket, Thailand now.
Thanks Goran 🙏. We're actually exploring Slovenia 🇸🇮 in our next video, really looking forward to that one. Nice channel by the way 👌
@@lovricfamilyadventures Many thanks I hvala lijepa. Uzivajte Sloveniju.
I’m subscribed 🤙 good luck with future travel endeavours! Regards from England 👋
Zemljak! Tako sam se slatko nasmijao čitajući tvoj komentar 😂. Ma sve si pogodio 🤝! Hvala na lijepim riječima. Thanks for the sub 🙏
Sve najbolje
@@nemanjagradinac5419 Hvala još jednom za lijepe riječi i pozitivnu energiju 🙏. Naši krajevi zaista nude puno toga, u sljedećem videu smo u Sloveniji 🥳
Congrats guys! Have some questions for you if you don't mind: 1. What is life on a boat like? Pros/Cons? 2. Are you on a holiday visa or are EU citizens? 3. Cost of living for your family living on a boat? 4. Staying less than 6 months and no income tax or staying longer & eventually paying tax? 5. What do you do in winter? Too cold to live the boat? It is a very enticing way to reside in that area :-) Cheers, John
Hi there! Just to clarify we don't actually live on our boat although I understand how it might come across that way...that probably answers some of your questions. We are EU citizens which simplifies things. We've been here for more than 6 months now so local laws apply. Cheers 😊
Fantastic video
Cheers 🙏
I was really looking forward to it but blown away by the amazing natural beauty of the Bosnian Mountains.Ever so wonderful and nothing like it. Loved it Loved it. The coverage of the beauty of the land, the lakes, the wild horses, the sheep and their shepperds, beautiful 👌🤗💙

Well no words can describe and coming from India I’m still speechless This is really called a great nation by their own resilient not like here in Australia when they say What a great nation we are!!! That’s called life and natural happiness
Absolutely Jay! Incredibly resistant people.
Its wonderful. Good work to u Edi. Also liked Esha's narration. Watching Vida, Elon and Alba enjoying is very satisfying. Lots of love ❤
🙏
Love the videos mate
Cheers mate 🙏
Makes me want to get there and check it out
Your children are gorgeous. Good to see your wife in front of the camera. What nationality is she again?
Cheers 🙏. Esha is ethnically Indian; her nationality however is Australian 😊
@sea-pooladventures Ooh wow..Indian..okay..would never have guessed. I was thinking like Maori or Asian descent. She's pretty. Gorgeous kids. Travel safe 🙏
How do they travel from one side of the island to the other? Is there no transport at all?
Since there is no cars I'm guessing it's only by boat?
@@tiztrain probably...but what about inland? Maybe there is just the one town and no one lives further out?? Would be a very long walk!! Lol... (Horse and cart???)
I'm pretty sure they generally travel by boat to the opposite side of the island; they do however have these small tractors and trailers which they use for carting things around the place
@@lovricfamilyadventures I see. So is the main population in the centre? Is there anyone living in the other parts?
Thnaks for showing me the different places in Croatia. You filming is lovely. I enjoy watching your vlogs...I wish it was more often. ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for the kind words! 😊Yes, we're aiming for one video a month from now on, hopefully we can achieve that, but it's been a steep learning curve as we had no prior filming of editing experience. Lots of fun learning something new though
@sea-pooladventures You're doing well considering you're new to it all. You must have a good camera too? I hope you can do at least once a month. I'll be here waiting anyway. 😉
Great video. Thanks guys!
Thanks for watching čvarki 🙏😊
What a time and the production of each video keeps getting better and better. Keep it up
🙏
👏🏽🫶
been there only twice, planning to go this summer from Losinj
If you have access to a boat a day trip to Porat would definitely be worth it
Beautiful place, it's very far from mainland and so it's hard for people to live there. You create videos like a pro. I hope you all doing well in Croatia.
Thanks for the kind words 🙏...living on Susak would be challenging although it's much more connected now when compared to the past. Yes, we're doing well, Croatia has been great for us, it's become our little place of zen
Just wanted to let you know that we found your channel last night and love what you’re doing. I’m Croatian born, from Labin Istra, living in Brisbane. My husband, daughter and I spent 4 months in Croatia last year and we’ll be moving back also. Our favourite place was Omisalj. My husband is as Aussie as they come but he too has fallen in love with the homeland! So much so, he became a citizen ❤ Please keep up with your videos, we really love your story, your bravery, your beautiful insight and the way you’re raising your kids. We’re very keen to see how you’re doing some months on and how you fared in the winter. Warmest wishes to your lovely family.
Hi Trish! Thank you for connecting both here and with our journey 🙌🏽 By now we have actually lived through a winter here and while it is definitely eerily quiet 😆 and very different from Brisbane, it has made our family even closer. Because there less external noise we went inward and I cannot view that as anything but a good thing. We do more things together and it makes us do things like talk and just be. I hope you make it here soon and please keep commenting and let me know how you guys go in your own journey across the world!
in Croatia you drink tap water, nobody buys bottled water except tourists, they think it's like theirs :) yes, you are right about health care and the quality of medical services, it is at a higher level in Australia than in Croatia, but also in Croatia is getting better every day, although it is certain that Australia is one of the best countries in the world to live in. it is home to 250,000 Australians of Croatian origin, the tallest Dalmatians, and they are Australia's most famous tuna hunters and shipbuilders. they have been there since the beginning of the 20th century, and even before that they came to New Zealand, they are very successful there, one of the most famous descendants of New Zealand Croats is the famous singer Lorde, whose mother is a New Zealand Croat, and Lorde herself has Croatian citizenship, so many things combine Croatian and oceania. welcome! Croatia is a member of the European Union, NATO, Schengen and the Eurozone, and it is growing every day. This is not the same country. In the last ten years, it has changed drastically for the better thanks to its membership in the European Union and the money it allocated to Croatia through its funds for the development of the European Union. thank God that our European Union exists, which was created after the horror of the Second World War so that there would never be another war in Europe. and it succeeded in that, all who are its members are sure that they can develop in all areas in peace and security. Croatia will surely be a promising and developed country by the time your children grow up and start their independent lives, so I'm sure you did a good thing when you decided to live in Croatia from rich and richer Australia. and I can always work in more developed countries of the European Union, although I believe that there will be no need for this in 10 to 15 years. Good luck & all the best to you & your family!!!!!

gonna need a top 10 island list after you have explored them all :)
Make sure that you do not drop your boat anchor everywhere because there is the law against it and do not kill fish without a permit, the fines are huge..
Thanks for looking out for us 🙏 I do have a permit...we try and keep up to date with all the laws. Thanks for watching 😊
Inspirational video..

Welcome to paradise on earth !
My partner and I did just this 4 months ago. From our lives in Sydney NSW, we packed all our belongings sold everything we moved to Croatia, my partners homeland, a place we now call HOME. Best decision we have made...... now for me all I need is to learn the language. You are actually living our life. So lovely to hear someone else is just as crazy and lucky to have this dream come true.
This has indeed been an adventure of our lifetime and the best decision of our life as well 😊. Good luck with the language and all the best to you! This lucky/crazy community is increasing by the day it seems.
@@lovricfamilyadventures Yes, I see more and more people do the exact same. Yes, couldn't agree more its one of the best decisions we've done also. There's so many positives to living here. Thank you, keep living the dream and I will keep following and supporting you and your families journey here in beautiful Croatia.
Croatia is not just the coast you need to explore it lots of things to see if you go to the Continent
It's something that's definitely on our to do list 😊
