I've seen just about every bit of a available Stevie Ray footage and I can tell you Jeff Healy is the only person I've ever seen take the spotlight and upstage him.

Name me a better rhythm guitar player than JH? Man, what show that would have been to witness.

Although I will always believe Hendrix was the greatest guitarist ever, I always believed that Stevie was the best lead/rhythm guitarist we will have ever heard. Stevie was like Hendrix and Clapton playing the same guitar.

RIP for both of them. I got to see Stevie a couple months before he died. Never got to see Healey.... My bad, cause I could have.

Story goes this footage helped get Jeff Healey's career going. SRV in Toronto to promote his music album and went into a club, saw Healey, asked him to sit in so all that happened was not pre- planned. Jeff Healey burned it down. Said this only footage of the two together. Healey's career was off the ground.
