Remus S-Flow Slip-On Exhaust Kawasaki Ninja 400 / Z400 comparison
Переглядів 3,2 тис.4 роки тому
Comparison between the stock exhaust and the Remus s-flow exhaust for the ninja 400.
Best I've heard so far
Is this exhaust legal in texas
Hell yeah brotha!!! 🔥
We can have subaru exhaust as a treat.
Dang bro the whip is pretty riced out ngl. 🍚
Thank you.
I came for the bike so I know what exhaust I want for my 400 but that Subaru was mmmm 😋
Thank you!
Sheesh that Subaru tho 🤤
Bro my DRL are the Clight and the high beams is there any way to just make it the clight and turn off the high beams? My high beams flicker too it’s annoying lol but it’s a common problem with these headlights.
Have you unplugged the drl resistor located underneath the passenger headlight. Once that is unplugged the high beams will not come on with the drls.
@@rbooker1990 I haven’t, is it that small box on the passenger side right? Appreciate it brotha 🙏🏽
@@CasualVII yessir!
@@rbooker1990 appreciate it bro!
What exhaust do you have? Its sounds good. I have the Invidia n1 but I just don’t think it’s loud enough for me personally.

Great vid!!
Thank you!
You look just like Sugar Ray Leonard 😆
Yezzir

There is not a gasket.
just bought a pairs after watching this clip. thanks !
They look sick bro can’t wait to install mine
Thanks! And if you run in to any issues, shoot me a message on IG and I will try my best to help.
Hey my man, maybe a stupid question but what is the red pieces you have under you headlights? And if you bought them, from where? Love the car!
www.subispeed.com/part/a-70072-parent-olm-headlight-accent#.YPW0DeQ8IlQ
Great video!
Thanks cutie
Hey man I recently have installed these headlights and my passenger side low beam isnt working. If it is a bad bulb how would I replace it???
I am sorry. But I am a math teacher and do not work for the company that makes them. My suggestion would be to contact subispeed via email. I had 1 bad tail light and they replaced it after I jumped through the designated hoops. I wish I could be more help.
Wow a headlight review with no night shots 😯
Check the link in the description.
What are those red pieces bro?
Head lights accents. Got them from subispeed.
Love the look of the lights. Have you had any issues after the install?
I have not. I know with aftermarket headlights, there is always that fear of getting the ones that has a hole and condensation happens. But you can always put extra sealant on before install just to be safe.
not a fan its just one big light wall
I heard these headlights won't fit in the car if you still have the stock intake assembly. Can you confirm this, or will they fit with a stock intake? I want them for my wrx and I can't void my warranty right now so I need to know before I buy.
When I installed mine, I had a Cobb intake. So I really can’t confirm this. I have heard that it does not fit, but depending on your level of DIY, the way I see it, modifications can always be made. I would say that this is more of a question for subispeed themselves. I know they kinda take forever to reply sometimes though..... sorry I couldn’t be more help.
@@rbooker1990 it's ok but thanks for the quick response 👍
@@thatoneguy9842 did they end up fitting with stock intake? I have same car
@@hetts_ bump, I’d like to know as well
@@Jeff-um5gg they don’t fit
Been waiting for a review for the longest of these. I need brighter lights and honestly.. the pain of opening up the OEM ones are going to kill me more than just buying these. I love the sequential. It KIND of resembles the Honda Accords headlights but I'll get that out of my system. Looks like it's a buy for me.
They are super dope. Total game changer for my overall set up!
man that cutoff is foggy as heck you should adjust the orientation of those bulbs and see if it will clean it up
Just bought a pair of these. We’re they hard to install and did you have to buy anything extra besides the overlays? Heard some folks turn signal isn’t working.
The wires needed for the turn signals are labeled steering. I have no idea why they did that, but it is what it is.
Lol, I haven’t opened the box yet, but that would have confused the crap outta me if you didn’t bring that up.
Btw, your subie reminds me of sage mode.
@@samskee415 yeah. When you go to install it, just hit me up on my Instagram @Subieroll if you have any questions. I am usually pretty good about answering right away.
It’s raining where I’m at so I’m gonna wait until it passes the Bay Area. Right on though
can you change the led bulbs? or is it fixed
They are fixed. But adjustable.
@@rbooker1990 so if one of the leds go bad you'd need an entirely new headlight?
@@Drazx3 indeed. But it be like that sometimes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
HELL YEAH I CANT WAIT FOR MINE TO COME IN
Hey one other question, how bright are these? I know they are LED but are they a big improvement over the regular lights? I have a base 19 wrx
I have a premium 2016 sti and they were brighter (and whiter) than stock.
Did you have to adjust yours ? mine came pretty off and its a pain in the ass to adjust the height since its located on the bottom part behind the headlights
Yes I did. I know, typically with lowered cars, adjustments have to be made.
@@rbooker1990 If you adjusted them after installing how did you reach the bottom part ?
@@skandernouali I actually did it before 😅 I had a lowered ST before, and knew that it had to be done. So I turned it about 540 degrees.
@@rbooker1990 hahahah well done then ! I am the dumb one 😂
Thanks I’ve been looking for this
No problem
Ooooooooh... that shit looks good!!!
I definitely want these. What is the red stuff around your headlight?
It is a head light accent. It is made from a pretty durable plastic and applied with 3m tape. It reminded me of Gundam, so I got it.
@@rbooker1990 Gundam is amazing. Where did you buy it from. I have a silver 19 wrx that I'd like to apply it to.
@@ranran2218 I got you bro! www.subispeed.com/part/15-sti/2015-2020-subaru-sti-lighting-mods-upgrades/headlights/a-70072-parent-olm-headlight-accent#.YDENsWROIlQ
Hey I can’t get my blinkers to work with the lights did you do anything for them to work
Message me on Instagram @subieroll
How do you adjust the headlights?
At the back of the headlight, there is a dial that can be turned clockwise and counterclockwise to go up and down.
@@rbooker1990 wait do you need a screwdriver to adjust it or no? The reason is because when I installed mine, the passenger headlight was being blocked by the air flow box so I just turned the thing a bit to make room.
No, I used pliers to adjust mine.
@@rbooker1990 pliers? I had the instructions to adjust it but threw it away by accident. Haha
@@nathanjasso4113 yeah. They have a bolt like shape, so I just gripped the sides and turned them, I believe counterclockwise to raise them up until I was satisfied. I am lowered about an inch and a half
At work so i have to keep the video muted, I have HID Low beam bulbs, do these use their own lights without the bulbs or do they use the function of the bulbs to project through the housing?
They use their own lights. Direct plug and play.
Did you have a problem with the lights flickering after installation or is that the resistor issue you talked about? My lights flicker with the handbrake down and lights in the off position. The c light seems fine at all times but I have no flashing with my low beams or high beams on. Thanks for any help you can provide as I'm new to electrical stuff
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues. See how the units are direct plug and play, I would think the the flickering issues are due to the units being at fault. You may want to contact subispeed about this!
Wait i know this person
That dude kinda famous
this looks pretty cool
Thank you!!!!
Looks good but I can’t give up my Steering Responsive Headlights.
Where did you get the LED lights from

@@rbooker1990 does it fit for 2020 wrx too thats what I have

Quick question if you don't mind answering. With the headlights on it is hard to tell if the DRL is distinct from the other LED low beams. When it is dark out can you see a distinct gap between the DRL and the LED headlights or do they blend to be one bright light? Second, these appear to be the same manufacture as VLAND and wanted to know what your opinion on these are vs the Hikaris. Thanks! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HN8112P/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A212AU2GMISJ8L&psc=1
I would not necessarily say there is a gap, but you can definitely tell that there is a difference between the drl and the head light. It doesn’t just look like one blob of light. And the VLAND ones look weird to me with the 12 individual turn signal lights.
@@rbooker1990 Okay thanks! I was looking at those two and the Akkon's but probably will go with the Hikari, as it appears to be the most plug and play. Many thanks!
I am guessing there are adjustments for aiming these correctly once they are on the car? Nevermind I see in the other video link you mention that they are.
Yes, definitely helpful if you are lowered.
Hey quick question how did you get the sequel to work ???
Thanks for the helpful videos! I just bought these? Only question for me is the add a fuse part.
If you have an Instagram, I can show you and explain it there
@@rbooker1990 sure! It’s @m.rxsco
Ahh there it is. Thanks for posting this. Helps a ton to get a real idea of how they perform.
I do think they look pretty cool. Similar effect as the Acura jewel headlamps. It's just a downgrade in my OP to put a non fisheye lense on a headlamp on a car that comes factory with them. OLM. Is just another name for a generic Chinese made product. Overall they do look pretty cool depending on your application. The c lights and board that runs them is smooth. Biggest concern with aftermarket lights is seal leaks. This can be either with the actual seal where the lense meets the backing or where the bulbs attach. In this instance it seems like it'll be just the main seal. Also non oem lamp plastic lenses tend to oxidize at a way more rapid rate. I would suggest wrapping thrm in a clear film to promote longevity. Some night shots would be appreciated including the beam pattern say on Wall or garage door and a pic angle from the driver seat.
Link in bio for night shots.
Very very nice 👍🏻👍🏻💯💯
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
These are hard!!!! Gonna sell my Subispeed headlights to get these
