This was my HEMA clubs very first cutting party. Majority of us had little cutting experience, so it was nice being able to see water bottles actually being cut, whether it was a clean cut or not. Because it was our first time, we stuck to mainly water bottles. Also, during the middle of the party, an unexpected package, owned by my instructors brother, Fred, had arrived. Straight from the box ...

What is your process to clean them up again.?
А почему сделали закалку только на конце клинка ? Ковка мне понравилась. Подписался.
Too much repeat footage. Likely by accident. Nice work. What did the Gold plating cost?
Looks like a prison shank
You did good!
Hello...Sorry for my ignorance....But wouldn't it be easier and quicker to hacksaw off the legs?
Ставлю огромный лайк отличная работа 👍👍👍👌👌🤝 заходи друг в гости
Damascus is steel that has more than one type of steel in it. This is simply forge welding the same steel together. Same concept, different definition.
I really like your bracelet design!🙂
Cool
Single sword Vs sword and buckler. That is a tough one! I've only tried a little bit of actual HEMA, but I've got several years of experience with uncoreographed historical reenactment combat, and I remember trying the same sort of setup. That buckler really gives a surprisingly large advantage. I love these kinds of videos, though. As a practicioner of FMA with background in historical combat reenactment, it's really fun to watch. Kinda makes me want to connect up with the HEMA practitioners at my old reenactment club and try to organize a little HEMA/FMA meetup. Also, I'd love to see a sword and buckler Vs Espada y Daga.
I didn't. See. Any. FMA all I see. Is Two. Dancing people claiming. They are. Martial artist🤣🤣🤣

@@Milara887 I'm pretty sure punctuation like that doesn't exist in any language, but I may be wrong. And I never said I wasn't rude, either. I tend to be rude to people who are rude.
the HEMA guy has the advantage of range and an extra implement. You should have made the eskrimador wield two matches (or machete and dagger at least) to level the playing field.
effort is appreciated
The other guy, fma, should also utilize the shield from the tribes. It's too much of a disadvantage having only a short weapon comapared o a longer one with a shield.
I miss cutting parties with my club. Stupid 2020.
Are there HEMA clubs in your area?
100% internet influenced culture.
you are very lucky that you are a part of such a wonderful community.
Here is no rebound in that anvil whatsoever. Is there any stamp or logo on that anvil
This looks really fun!!
Love the danish greatsword
Did it explode?
Really cool
Buena idea.... Mal hecho material echado a perder😕😕😕😕
Something to do with music ?
Nice hammer work
Thor called. He wants his hammer back. :)
Muito bom cara! What steel did u use ? Queria saber se tem risco de causar alguma alergia se eu usar ferro de 'rebar'
good work but the music kind of gets annoying.
Great video! What size stock did u use? Thanks
Would you be willing to make one and ship it for a price?
i dont think thats a hay budden, but who knows
nvm was looking at the first anvil my b... embarrassed!
great work! how do you add the twist?
You heat it up then put it in a vise and use pliers to hold it then twist
I would recommend you oil that sword before you start to complain about the Rust. I own two of these for training. As a beginner this sword is great for what I do. Just keep it oiled!
How did it hold up in sparring?
I'm wondering about that aswell. If it holds up well I would definitely purchase one from KOA.
While I would be lying if I said it was the work of a "master smith" it's still a FANTASTIC first attempt. Way better than my first try
What kind of forge do you have
I've been looking to pick one up off Kult of Athena (they're asking $190)
Nice video
Cool. I like it. 👍
Very nice.
I could never catch the name of the box cutter blades, where did you buy them ?
Hi kuya(Javier
Quick question I wanna make like it but would gas torch or propane torch heat it up enough to turn it into shape like yours ???
Gaming With Al-tonz its possible depending on the size of your torch and wether or not you will be heating it in a closed localized area. If you have a good torch and a closed insulated area, it may take some time but its possible :) good luck!
Gabriel Parungao actually I went to a shop to buy gas torch and wrench and I asked one of the guys that work there and I said hey sir I have this idea I saw of UA-cam to make axe from wrench his like really? I’m like yeah I saw of UA-cam and his like don’t believe everything on UA-cam is it possible?
Whether you think its possible or not, give it a try. From there you get to learn :) id say give it a go and see for yourself ;)
nice work!
Nice video! Looks like it's relatively easy to keep good edge alignment with greatswords because they are pretty stiff. Or I'm wrong? I saw people saying it's hard but here it looks easy
Laserowy Kuba keeping good edge alignment on greatswords seems to be much harder due to their size and weight in my opinion. However, if you keep the blade sharp and really follow through with your cuts while cutting in a straight line, that seems to do the trick for me. Thats just from my experience ;)
So you are just skilled with cutting then. Btw that greatsword from 0:15 (for egzample) is from Cold Steel right? then it weights like 3.1 kg. I wonder how easier it would be to cut with 2.5 kg montante, like one from Regenyei
www.regenyei.com/en_twohanded_custom.php that one 2nd from up (this one is for cutting, other ones are for sparrings I think)
I guess ive just gotten used to cutting with the cold steel. I did cut with the new regenyei and yes, it was surprisingly light and well balanced. took me a few cuts to get used to it tho ;)
