More unstructured blather about time with a gun
How hard was it to get the proper can for it and to fit?
This rifle has 1/2x28 threads, so most suppressors will fit it no problem Getting the factory muzzle device off! WOOF! That was tough lol
Thank you brother, I've been trying to get answers about this thing from other channels... So I'm gonna hv to replace the muzzle your saying?
Or should just ask which muzzle and which suppressor should I get?
Which suppressor you buy is totally subjective, everyone always says whichever suppressor they have is the best one, so be weary, do some research, and pick which one you think best suits your needs. I prioritize low back pressure over sound suppression, so I use OSS/Huxwrx mostly
Great gun. I personally went with the Spear. I just preferred the 9-inch barrel.
@@Diaszurana I have an 11.5 spear, great choice God intended .300 BO to be shot out of a 9” barrel
@@TheGunFellas Plus that sweet 1:5 twist rate
@TGF this or the x95 trigger reset is shorter on x95 but its less accurate and suppresses worse. How does the height over bore affect change in zero would you take this or the x95?
@@petemotz48 taller mechanical offset affects the holds at closer ranges for sure, if it’s a gun you’re serious about using, you will learn to overcome it within a couple of hundred rounds. You’re just going to have to hold an inch or so higher
What riser are you using under your Eotech?
I think it’s a unity, whatever the hypebeast one is
He said pointless and childish wtf
Thanks for this, very helpful. I appreciate the ambient sound.
I hate bulls. Wanted to hate this one too, until I got some rounds through it. Surprisingly accurate and easy to use after a bit of time. Great gun.
Would you snag this or a x95? I have a nice AR and a flow through can. Was leaning towards the VHS but the Tavor seems to have more aftermarket support,
I would personally take this over a Tavor for a number of reasons. The aftermarket for these is slowly growing- I would say just get the one you want
Have you had a chance to try night vision with this yet?
Much of the intro is me shooting it with night vision!
@@TheGunFellas Sorry. Wasn't paying attention. Was it a pain to set up all the switches?
A bit more involved than an AR, but then again all LAM and light switches are designed around the AR. It IS possible on this gun, though, and it really isn’t as bad as you’d think
@@TheGunFellas Great info. Never actually seen one of these kitted out for NV.
@frankopanklaric right now I just have an LA5 and a vampire on mine with a Unity dual lead, totally doable
I have one and it’s an excellent rifle and easy to learn. The trigger is about the best bullpup trigger on the market as I have shot most of them to date. Trying to compare the trigger to that of an AR doesn’t work as it works in a different manner. It’s like comparing a striker fired pistol to a double action only, that’s the comparison I use when asked about it.
It’s a perfectly serviceable trigger, we’re all spoiled because ARs and even AKs generally have well-above average triggers compared to rifles in general
I have one just like it only it has a bottom rail it's amazing to shoot and very very reliable. Great video!!
Višenamjenska Hrvatska Strojnica ! :D (aka a VHS) - engl.Multitasking Croatian Rifle)
not sure if i like reaching inside the mag well to hit the bolt lock - any thoughts ?
A little odd for sure, typically that’s squarely an administrative unloading/showing clear issue, it’s not quite like an AR where you can have bolt override malfunctions or something weird that’ll prevent you from running the action though. I can’t really think of a circumstance on this particular gun where you’d absolutely NEED to be able to manually lock the bolt to the rear to perform an emergency task on the gun. Not a huge deal to me!
Picked up my spear lt 300blk and there's no flex at all. Gun is rock solid and sexy af. I'm guessing the shorter barre/handguard helps but boy are these sweet
What pants are those at 11 mins
WHAT IS WITH THE " OPERATORS" WHO MUST USE A SUPPRESSOR WITH SUPERSONIC AMMO? IT TOTALLY NEGATES THE PURPOSE OF THE SUPPRESSOR, IT IS NOT HEARING SAFE. POINTLESS
The suppressor also kills muzzle flash entirely which makes it very effective at night.
30 dcb difference is far from pointless.
Yeah, I mean, shut up, so
Suppressors help kill muzzle flash and dust signature you dumb boomer
Lmao
The amount of Fudds and fudd lore in this comment section is hilarious and scary.
I had a small amount of flex in my .308 Spear and after torqueing to 35 in-lbs, I am physically unable to permanently flex the handguard. I also have a Virtus with an MWI handguard with a ZRC on it that no longer flexes permanently. Sure, this shouldn't happen, but I'm not that chuffed paying $45 to fix such a small problem. Interesting this wasn't a problem when Geissele rails on SOCOM guns were permanently bending.
It isn’t fashionable to shit on Geissele 🤷🏼♂️ Remember, 99% of sig hatred is copium after glock lost the handgun contract bid 👀
❤❤❤❤ from Croatia because you use the reale name
Great video! Finally someone who’s put almost as many 50AE rounds through these as I have! I have 4 so I usually buy the Hornady 300gr by the carton (10 boxes each). Really liked your views regarding the FTF, it’s funny since it’s kind of case by case actually. I finally discovered my own cause, mine being stance, of all things, literally 100% eliminating it. I have a video dedicated just to jamming, if you’re ever bored it’s buried in my “Desert Eagle” playlist. Hey do more D.E. videos!
Just got a fresh 1000 Underwood in, excited for another grand through it- hopefully it doesn’t take me 6 years this time!
What mount are you using for your Streamlight? All mine seem to interfere with my ability to remove the handguard without taking it off first.
I think it’s an old D3 mount, not entirely sure
Good review. Thanks. WAY low key, dude! You ok?? ;)) Trigger: It’s a combat trigger. It’s fine. My Active Duty M16, not great either. So?? “Train to the gun”. Good point about ‘shooting fast’. Harder with bull pups. So?? Extendable stock: according to the manufacturer… it’s so you can move your face further back from the ejection port, if/when switching shoulders a lot. Good point about also for backing off from your Nods. Mag changes: Again… ‘train to the gun’. Height-over-bore: stop bitching people! “It’s a G36 bull pup”. Excellent observation. Good job. Thanks again.
Interesting, since I’m a lefty, when I want to let a righty shoot it, I typically extend the stock for them so their faces clear the ejection port, didn’t know that was the intent behind the design there. As for the trigger, I think we’re all so spoiled with generic AR triggers being, all things considered, in the top 5% of triggers in general, so different things can be offputting to people. I don’t mind it, but slow firing it to zero or something was a bit agonizing, really my only gripe with it is how LONG the trigger pull is… again, only when zeroing it did I find it bothersome. Thanks for the feedback!
what fkn AK has a left hand slide?
Well this isn’t even an ak to begin with

@mtownboundwoah now get back to makin out with ur sister. Grown folks talking boy
The decock nuke fuckin got me dude 😂
Nice hat!
Small club
I knew that was the issue with the barrels immediately the first time I ever saw it happen. Either employees aren't or are just forgetting to torque the screws down all the way, their tools aren't calibrated correctly or else sig is just straight up giving out the wrong torque spec all together.
QC, etc aside, it’s not like a mechanical or engineering or manufacturing flaw in the gun, it’s just lane that when they assemble some of them, they do it half assed.
Scorpius Tactical did a video showing the flex, they claim to have torqued, and retorqued to spec and still saw 1" deviation at 15 yards. They also compared to a standard AR that had no issues with the test.
Is that LVOA behind you? Awesome rifle and carbine.
It is! That LVOA was my ride or die for a loooong time, nothing else feels quite as much like home for me
apathetic much? Can't finish the video.
Dude I’m just a guy trying to provide information
I agree, his presentation was painful with no energy.
@@bmrz38 just my perspective on a gun, filmed on a phone in my back yard, not trying to win any production awards, just trying to share information that isn’t canned from some company or whatever.
@@TheGunFellas everybodys is a critic
I like his presentation. Blunt, refreshing compared to the host of Billy May's reviewers or the if it's not an AR I hate it downers.
Sir, quick ? is this gun considered a pistol or SBR. If it is a SBR, then I guess I need to register it as such? thank you
Bought it as a pistol!
Great video!
Good info. Terrible audio.
Unfortunately I am just a man with a cellphone trying to provide end user info, my production value consists of me talking at a cellphone while holding a gun :(
Safety is off on the AR behind you
Thankfully we survived Good eye tho
DO A REVIEW on the LVOA!...I just picked up a left hand version as I am left handed lol @TGF
You can't apply the safety unless the hammer is cocked. The rifle is likely unloaded with the hammer down, which is the safest condition it can be in.
@thepenultimateninja5797 correct
You need to check the barrel nut clamp to make sure they are torqued to spec
Tbh I would rather have a trigger with a longer pull than an accidental discharge with a trigger too sensitive.
Exactly. It’s a combat weapon.
I love mine I bought 10 extra mags 20 rounders for the prone and I hope I get more time behind it
20 rd mags are best, I think. Agreed.
That trigger is just garbage!
It’s certainly a bullpup lol
I mean, if you been spoiled with Larue or other triggers sure but its definitely serviceable after taking time to adjust to it.
It's literally not. Mine is perfectly fine you are just a trigger snob.
While I would agree that the trigger is far from great. Those that have actually shot the rifle say it is not that not bad.
@@bmrz38 the problem is that we’re all used to AR triggers, which are categorically probably the best triggers of any gun platform as a whole, so we’re all just used to having comparatively amazing triggers be the norm. Today’s milspec AR trigger was yesterday’s turbo match grade unicorn trigger in any other gun.
His neighbor looking out her window 👀✌️
Looking forward to more content man, good stuff here. The Halo Battle Rifle we always wanted
Much appreciated!
My dad was in Nam.. he said they would use .22 rounds for interrogations.. shoot someone in the knee, it would bounce around causing serious internal damage befor coming out of the shoulder or the back or somewhere totally random. One shot could cause more internal damage then a large caliber round, this brings me to my next question what makes 300 blackout any better considering I won’t be needing to reach out and touch em.
I’m not going to rationalize the benefits of .300 over .22.
@@TheGunFellasnot listening to an opinion from some some little preper kid that doesn’t know what he’s talking about I was in desert storm when you weren’t even born kiddo, 0311 Semper Fi ,hoorah.

I have a .300 rattler, I love it. If you don’t wanna put out for the ammo then don’t get it. Case closed. These haters are wild, .300 blk out was created for close quarter combat for special operations by the US military & is currently contracted with sig sauer for the rattler in .300 blk out. Loved you’re video bro, stay up big dawg! 🙏🏽👍🏽
Nailed it.
300 blk sub sonic is starting to come down. A few months ago, I got 500 rounds for less than $500. I don't remember the exact amount, but I believe it totaled 480 something
If you run the cheaper surefire momentary tape switch, you can run it to the other side of the hand guard through the m-lok slots and under the barrel. Then attach it to the opposite side of the hand guard with the little plastic Magpul mount for the switch. This keeps the cord protected inside the hand guard and out of the way of the charging handle. Best setup I have been able to figure out and I have tried three different switches and locations. Hope this helps someone.
I actually like that idea, my only concern would be the cable getting a little uhhhh toasty in there. I’d be willing to try for science
@@TheGunFellas The cable is stiff enough that it seems to push itself against the inner surface of the handguard and away from the barrel. It is obviously in the with the barrel, but mine does not contact the barrel. It figured I could always tape it to the inner walls of the handguard with that heat reflecting foil tape if it ever became a problem. If it will keep the plastic on my snowmobile from melting 2 inches from the hot exhaust all day, it should protect that cable.
Vojna VHS se može zaključati!

Equal to or under 10.5in .300blk Equal to or over 10.5in .223 I call it the 10.5 rule.
So Equal to 10.5in .323blk?🤔
And MK18 should be 300blk? Bud do you think this meme could very well be describing you by any chance?😉
@@JohnZ556 lmao the mk18 is the most overrated modern day AR variant or rifle in general. And I stand by what I said, if you want to call it at ten inches flat then okay sure, ballistically that’s as low as you can reasonably go. I’m not saying one should be rocking a 20in barrel every time for .223, it’s simply understanding the importance of pistol vs rifle powder and the lost velocity plus extra flash that comes with shortening a barrel. What I’ve said is quite accurate. If you disagree then you just don’t understand why .300blk was even made in the first place, and why it’s still appreciated by special forces groups across the globe. I’d absolutely choose my Sig Rattler in .300blk over a Mk18, at least you get some actual innovation and truly modern developments on the “AR” style rifle that gives us the MCX. A mk18 is just a well made mil spec AR, it’s very overpriced and I know I can build a better AR just how I like it myself than DD for a fraction of the price by starting with a mil spec stripped lower, a parts kit, and then putting it all together. I’ve built over a dozen already in life, and I don’t break my rule because .223 is straight ass when under 10in, and .300blk never has excess flash when running short barrels. If you choose a .223 barrel length of say 7.5in or any length under 10in then that’s just dumb, I’ll call anyone out I don’t care lmfao I know I’m right.
This site has been on for a while now and I have my reservations about it. I myself have an interest in various weapons ever since I was in the military. But I’m worried that this site will provide to much information and knowledge for the nut cases out there. Not to mention that I’m sure there’s a few that follow this site now. I haven’t needed any of these type of weapons since my military career ended. Why would anyone need some of these weapons. A 30/30 and a Springfield 9 mm is all I need.
