A bit about me:
I started out as a public relations practitioner and writer in 2011. I worked with over 40 brands from diverse industries in bridging their purpose and message to their target audiences, helping them win prestigious local and international communication awards along the way.
When I became a mom in 2020, and the main source of food for my son from breastfeeding to solids, I took an interest in nutrition which later on became an all-encompassing passion. I’m now a certified nutritionist whose goal is to bridge the gap between balanced eating and those who are new to nutrition. Food will always be a huge part of our lives, from fuel to enjoyment to nourishment, and we all deserve to make the most of it.

Hi Ciara! Thank you for sharing your story. I am going through the EXACT same which is crazy. I started my main channel in 2017. It has over 120,000 subscribers and brings in side income. However, I felt exactly the same. I was tired of vlogging and my life changed so much. I went from being 25 with no kids to being 32 with 2 kids… I wanted to change directions and felt like starting over on a new channel was the only way. I am posting a few last videos on my main channel but will focus on this channel in 2025. I love watching nutrition content and am subscribing now!!

I saw you add honey. Since honey has anti microbial properties I don’t think it mixes well with kefir which is loaded with tons of good bacteria.
@@RichReasonYESSIR Since the kefir is already fermented, adding honey at this stage won’t disrupt the probiotics. Honey’s antibacterial properties shouldn’t impact the live cultures in the finished kefir. It’s mainly to add sweetness and balance kefir’s tanginess in the chia pudding.

I'm glad I finally see a fellow Filipino encouraging more healthy eating habits! It makes me feel not so bad about my recent gestational diabetes diagnosis. Granted, I know it will most likely go away after my baby is born, but still, it feels isolating seeing fellow Filipinos around me mock healthy eating. True story.

Hey everyone! Just a quick note-after some research, I realized that garlic, onions, bread, and uncooked pasta are better stored outside the fridge to keep them fresh longer 😅 Also, while I didn’t mention it here (04:10), you can wash fruit before storing it in the fridge as long as it’s fully dried first 🙂 Hope this clears things up, and thanks for watching!
