i think the best thing out of g5 was the alphabittle and misty reuniting that storyline was cool,

I would love a new cast of characters, but i do want to keep the lore. However, i want everything in g5 to be disregarded as non canon, as i really didnt like how they used lore. So just a new start, like g5 tried to do, but actually good writing that works with g4

I know they wanted to do a reboot for G5 instead, before completely scrapping the idea, I think it might be the most viable option, or to put MLP to rest for a while

I'm not gonna lie i forgot that there was a g5 of mlp tbh, and yes i am a big mlp fan as gen 4 was the first show i ever watched and i loved everything about it but now that it's over we can all agree that it will never coming back, let my poor ponies rest.some people will say "oh but we want the mane six back because of nostalgia and-" NO, I DON'T WANT THEM TO COME BACK, i loved the mane six and i still do but they went to their adventures and they grew up and their legacy is over, no more gen4. As we can all almost agree that the gen 6 should be it own thing, new characters and new settings and new villains...etc and yes they can recycle some of the older characters like they did with g4 but it better for them to make a whole new bunch of characters, because as we saw from gen 5 they tried to connect it with g4 and forgot to be it own thing which was it biggest flaw. And also hoping for it to be 2d because let's be honest the 3d thing looked like cocomelon or something and it better be a good 2d and not the crappy one like the tell your tale thing... Fingers crossed for a good mlp generation in 2026🤞

I’ll admit that G4 is the reason I became a Bronie, G5 I just heard too many mixed reviews on. I will admit next time for MLP it should be a reboot, just to help the franchise and create new things for future generations, plus not everything need to be a continuing story that goes on forever (example: MCU, Star Wars, and Fast and Furious).

Firstly they (hasbro) should've ended g4 properly then start g5,there are many questionable things about g4 till this day... What happend to Tirek,Chrysalis and Cozy Glow and why is a child pony turned into stone,if you ask me then for example Sunset Shimmer should be turned into stone before then Cozy,ponies should gave right to those 3 for excuse like they gave that right to Sunset,Discord,Luna,Gloriosa and many others,that makes no sense...

What happened to Transformers after the Beast Era will happen to MLP. Mark my Words.

I want G6 to be set in space. Imagine G4... but in space. No seriously, i think it could work. Instead of changing the tone and feel of what Friendship is Magic did, with it's mix of comedy, story and emotional moments, simply changing the setting could make G6 stand out without losing what made Friendship is Magic so... magical.

As a toy collector, I want at least 150 different Pony toys. Without this, there wouldn't be any revenue for the series. There weren't a lot of G5 toys... just a few from the movie.

Honestly I think the best thing for it would be if G6 would be an entirely original product. Not a sequel, not a spinoff (they already tried that with Pony Life, and look how well that turned out), just a new setting and new characters, or at least not the G4 characters, I wouldnt be against them bringing back some of the older Gen characters in a new light, kinda like what G4 was originally gonna be. But I think just leave well enough alone and let G4, G5 and Equestria in general be done, start something new. There's no shortage of creative and driven people who grew up with the franchise nowadays, so maybe they could pull it off if they find the right showrunner and give them enough time to really flesh things out like Lauren Faust did.

I quite enjoyed G5, with all it's flaws there was a lot of cool stuff in it and great artists worked on it. It's a shame it's ending so soon, I think it would've improved more and more (seeing how much mym improved with each chapter). I think that if they make a well written, high quality show for G6 it will pay off because there are so many fans who want good content! So I hope Hasbro sees that and doesn't cheap out on that generation

Ponyverse is a new show

You say that the brand new world with brand new characters is the most likely scenario. I don't think so? Every generation had rebooted characters from a previous generation. G4 had six G1 personalities combined with G3 names and designs, for example. Even supporting characters like CMC, Cheerilee, etc. have G3 names/designs. G3 is more subtle, but it's there. G3 Spike is obviously rebooted G1 Spike, G3 Minty have similarities with G1 Minty, G3 Pinkie Pie with G1 Suprise, etc.

They need to make an MLP G4 movie similar to Avatar. Many people are familiar with the creatures and lands of Equestria. While all of Pandora is still in the head of its creator.

The issue with G5 in my opinion is that it was trying too hard to be G4 and it's own thing at the same time
