The medieval St Blasius church in Shanklin is beautifully situated just outside the old village on the right towards Ventnor, there is a public car park very close by, lovely duck pond, and large fields and playground very nearby, it is well worth a visit and has some fascinating history, best time to go is in the spring, st-blasius-church.org.uk/history/history.html
