Hey everyone, a new video is up on my channel! Fishing for Delicious Mackerel in Woody Point and getting some cool shots of this beautiful seaside community with my DJI mini 2 drone! It was a fun evening, the mackerel weren't all the plentiful but the awesome weather made up for it!

Hey Andrew! How are you doing. Your anniversary is soon, or just passed. The mackerel the guys were catching here a month or so ago here off nova Scotia were big ones but now they're just barely legal ones.

That was freakin awesome!!! Where I used to fish for landlocked salmon in NY, the regulations are 15” and 3 fish per day and through the ice it’s 18” and only 2 fish per day. Back in the ‘90’s both the length and creel (daily) limit was more. I seem to remember it being 21” minimum and a limit of 5 per day. A #4 hook, gold bead head Wolly bugger worked best for us in that particular body of water 😉 I’d do either a Maple Bourbon brine or a Maple Citrus (orange juice) brine. I did do a savory brine occasionally with maple syrup, brown sugar, kosher salt, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and lemon or orange juice or zest. Do you have a link to that vacuum sealer?

Ya had fun anyway , that's the main thing. If you figure out where the moose yard in winter you will find more sheds. I have found many.
