Wouldnt it be easier just to buy the 6 drawer cart for 599? and have 6 full deep drawers. I think you can still mod it and add the shelf and 6 drawer extention.

Many folks have had issues with Mossberg Patriots being accurate. I think it has something to do with that mag guide. design.

If your shopping for a budget gun. Great. The magazine support will eventually crack and the magazine will fall out under recoil. I accuglassed mine in and pillar bedded it. Then the outside of the stock under the action has begun to warp. The plastic stock is great for a person who shoots 2 to 3 rounds a year. Bonds, and mpx have replacement stocks. They cost more than the original rifle. But if your going to use it. Replace it.

On my rifle the back of the mag insert rests on top of the front on the trigger assembly and there is no void to fill or am I missing something 🤷🏼‍♂️

I have been doing it just like you show for 40+ years. It amazes me how people think they need to have all this specialty stuff when everyday items work just fine.

Has anyone else noticed that Mossberg put the red dot (that signifies safety off/fire position) in the opposite location of where it should be? My nephew’s rifle incorrectly shows the fire position indicator where the safety on position is.

I would remove the top section of the lower box, create some open space at the bottom, and then go a little taller overall. But it's great to share builds, so people like me can pick the best from each UA-cam video and create a double stacker that works best for me. What some people don't realize is many of us already own two 5 drawer carts. And others can find carts for sale used. In the end, the best part for me is saving precious floor space. I run out of floor space quickly so saving some for other uses is a huge benefit. And I'd rather have ten drawers than the new six drawer roller. Now if I was buying new, I'd just get the 6 drawer unit and add a drawer end cabinet to the side.

What a great idea and modification to the tool chest. I just bought a second chest for more tool storage, however I don't know if I am going to have the room for it. With this idea, I can now have both chests without taking up twice as much space. BRILLIANT!!!!!! Thank you for making this video.

you are one of the few people with this particular fix.... but it's extremely hard to see what you are doing because you are way too close and the camera is vertical. I've watched it 4 times and can't "see" what you did on some steps. Just an FYI... don't mean to be a karen. Always consider that the other person doesn't know S!!!.

I know this video is old but I bought a boyds stock for my patriot. Then I bought a metal ai mag well for it to get rid of the cheap plastic. And now I have a gunsmith pillar bedding it. Hoping to make this thing an absolute tack driver. Because I have too much $$ into it to ever sell it for a profit...

I have one in 375 Ruger and its a piece crap won't shoot a descend group no matter what I try. Sometimes you might luck out and get a descent one but the odds are stacked againt you in my opinion. I will never but another Mossberg rifle. Their customer service sucks, if the gun goes off its good enough by their standards.

I have a patriot in 375 Ruger this gun will not shoot a descent group no matter what. You are right the stocks are a piece of junk. These guns are a total crap shoot when you buy one, you might get one that is OK but the odds are you will get a piece of crap. I will never ever buy another Mossberg. I called them about this gun and they said the accuracy was within their standards sure not mine. I will never hunt with this gun.
