The energy seems tamed down here for BBC - maybe if you watch videos of their festival performances you would get more of an understanding of the impact they deliver. The official video for this song has way more grit than this performance.

Think Wendy O Williams, Plasmatics, not Blonde at all. What they have going is timing and they are in a nice pocket even though they need to keep learning their instruments. They made me move to the groove.

I have just a passing interest in the band, but enough to know that you're assumption is correct, probably the most unrepresentative clip of the band that you could have chosen.

To me they sound like Rose Tatoo. Not punk but that sluggish heavy rock vibe. And they are Aussie like the Tatts and that is not a criticism

Shame you guys just dont get it. It is PURE AUSSIE PUNK. They have been around for a while now. They are on there 3rd album. They are best on a live stage, That was a studio performance. They have there own style. listen to a few more of there songs. They are purposely raw, no bullshit.

This blues song is originally from the 60s and has been covered countless times. Apparently Stephen Tyler just happened to stop by when they were recording and made up the harmonica part on the spot and ended up in the song. This is an awesome cover

Oh you guys need to learn ALOT more about Stu. He does a little of everything. Sunday valley was his first band BTW. I went to two shows this year and both were sold out. 3.5 hour show both nights as well. Give his concert video a shot( on his youtube) or his Call to arms SNL set. Great video guys!

❤❤❤ Totally agree. They are just special. We all hope for at least a reunion someday. LoL Ren owns that drum. 😊 Gorran does a lot of the 70s singing. They amicably split because Ren had to go to Canada for treatment for his Lymes disease & the resulting brain damage, pain, and auto immunity he deals with every day. He was in Calgary for a year & half, got back to the U.K. but found out only a few months later that the intense treatment did not kill the evil pathogen. He has had a relapse recently from pushing himself too hard to film and record as much as possible before having to go back to Canada for more intense treatments. Ended up in hospital. We have to be patient. A new album is coming at some point. 😊

I'm a big fan of Johnny Flynn. Lots of good stuff over the years......and collabs with Marcus Mumford. They came through at the same time - though Flynn didn't quite catch the wave that Mumford did. The Water is a great song, as are many others..

I think the song is about realisation that we are all human beings, there's no need to label and find reasons for things. Stuff happens but we're still able to get past circumstances and yet we have to take energy free the sun in order to stay alive each day. I think the lyrics mean more than just the music on this one. The video is alright but listening to just the music is better. Good video thanks.

One hand killing definitely should have been your first song from these guys. If you decide to check it out, i highly recommend watching the official video. They have a ton of other great songs, in my opinion. Oxygen, Gone, IDK, Monsoon, etc...
