Those gains are quite insane for just a simple retune. Especially the torque gains! So it has been a year since you got the tune, how's everything? Did you run into any issues?

Have you been in the dyno? Most of those tunes 99% when I’ve opened and looked at their work it’s like a child did the parameters. More placebo than anything. They cannot tune 70hp with a simple tune. Been tuning Porsche for 25 years.

I have a 718 Cayman s manual and it is everything i have ever wanted in a sports car. I love it. Saying that, would giving it an APR 1 tune run the risk of it feeling too fast? The 350hp exelleration is fantastic. (Serious question btw).

A simple fix would be the Fabspeed turbo back super cup exhaust. It takes 36 lbs. off the car. See their video here on YT. But first things first. Fix the driver. I learned this from Danny Popp, a four-time National champ in autocross. And he drives a Lingenfelter modified Corvette. Learn the limit of the car in autocross, and your limit also, and only then apply suspension or other tweaks. Only apply these mods if you're scratching for tenths at the division or national level. I have driven a Boxster GTS 4.0 in autocross, and like your Cayman, if you learn to exploit its limits, without mods, you might win every time you're out there. Best of luck.

just to be pendantic... the model NAMES are boxster, cayman and 718 (718 Cayman and 718 Boxster) all the other numbers are generations, not models. you're using the generation number interchangeably as "model" which adds confusion. the 718 generation number is 982. Porsche decided to rename these cars 718 to pay homage to an older mid engine car but to come in line with the nomenclature of the 911. going forward, there are two models of sports cars, 718 and 911. both of these models have an additional modifier whether its a coupe, convertible (cayman or boxster) and its trim level (base, s, gts, gt4, spyder etc)
