This is the best instructional video I've seen so far. It's the first I've seen that says to remove ALL PAINT before applying. I think this is easier said than done, but I'm wondering how many were able to get a perfect finish after following this video. I never thought about buying a heat gun either. I'm going to attempt this and post my results. I challenge others to post their results as well so we all can be reassured.

My old fiberglass shower pan has lots of blemishes, stains that won't come out and places where the surface isn't smooth. Should I repair that first, if so, with what product?

That looks like it's slicker than a greased pig. There's no grit in the paint? Looks like a trip to the hospital for an elderly person.

I doubt the claims this is non-toxic with no fumes or VOCs. Visiting the companies website appears with broken English and terrible grammar, no address, no company info like who the owners are and where ... which is a #1 indicator its a chinese chemical factory making and selling this compound. I'd be very weary about it.

I’m ready to attempt to do this like you are, the next day or 2, but I’m not sure what room temperature is best?! I’m doing a 40yr old American standard steel tub… In your video tutorial it says 72-80 F, and the actual instructions with product says 68-76 F?! What is the ideal temperature to apply it?? And how long after should you remove drain tape etc.?

I'm wondering how much this costs. Sites and businesses should give an all-around estimation. They lose so much business because they demand potential clients go through a consultation process when they could tell them that for a regular project it's between $400 and $600 or between $700 and $900. If people just knew if it was in their range of affordability they'd call immediately instead of just letting the tubs go to waste.

this is awesome. I refinish bath tubs for a living... how long does this process take generally? id love to try this out instead of spraying im tired of all the VOCs in all of the chemicals and materials i have to use for spraying.

Would this product work with a kitchen sink? I don't know what the last person used that refinished the sink, but it is now pealing. I think it has to do with using hot water especially from boiling water. Can this product handle that? Thanks

I watched a video put out by Home Repair Tutor who did almost the same exact process and he explains very well each step he is doing. It's about 40 minutes long, but worth watching.
